1. al Chef s Supreme Rice Cooker Warmer User s Manual Models RC23 RC33 amp RW100 RETAIN THISMANUAL FOR FUTURE USE IMPORTANT DO NOT DISCARD THIS MANUAL This manual is considered to be part of the appliance and is to be given to the owner or manager of the hotel or restaurant or to the person responsible for training operators of this appliance It should be retained for future reference ANWARNING There is not an ON OFF switch on this appliance When plugged into an electrical outlet these appliances are on and set to the warm function To turn off you MUST unplug the appliance from the electrical source IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances including the following e Read all instructions carefully before use e DO NOT touch hot surfaces Use handles and knobs when touching this appliance e To prevent electrical hazards do not immerse cord plug or appliance in water or any other liquid e Unplug appliance from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning Allow appliance to completely cool before putting on or taking off parts or removing inner pot e DO NOToperate the appliance if the cord has been damaged or if the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any way e NEVER allow water or any liquid to get into the outer pot e NEVER plug in the power cord without the inner pot inside the cooker e Anyuseofaccessories or attac

3. ce OPERATION ZA warninG A measuring cup is included with the rice cooker models This measuring cup adheres to Rice Cooker Industry Standards of 180 ml and is NOT the same size as a standard US measuring cup If a recipe you are using does not call specifically for rice cooker cup you may need to adjust your recipe accordingly All references to cups in this manual refer to the Rice Cooker Industry Standard cup size COOKING RICE ZX warnine The rice cooker and its parts are hot when in use Use caution when operating or cleaning 1 Clean rice thoroughly Rinse the rice in another container several times until the rinse water is almost clear 2 Add the desired amount of rice and water to the inner pot using the PROVIDED measuring cup see rice water measurement chart on page 7 Level the rice in the inner pot for best results For best and fastest results use hot water Insert the inner pot into the cooker 3 Depending on the model either cover the inner pot with the lid or close and latch the lid Plug the AC cord in to the wall outlet DO NOT plug the cord in until ready to cook Any time this cooker is plugged in the warming circuit is operating automatically 5 Move the cook warm lever to the cook position The cooking light will turn on indicating the rice is starting to cook 6 When the rice is finished cooking the cook warm lever will pop and change to the warm function 7 When the unit changes to the warm set
