3. er 7 Replace the lid of the unit 8 Insert the USB connector of the power lead to a computer mobile power supply or into the mains charger included Turn on the power supply Connection is indicated by a low level bleep 9 Choose the light setting by touching the RGB sensor a bleep will sound which will then offer an automatic gradual change of colour ranging from red pink purple blue green yellow to white To fix a colour touch the RGB sensor a bleep will sound during the automatic change to the colour of your choice If you d prefer no colour press and hold the RGB sensor for 3 seconds until the bleep sounds and the light will switch off 10 To start diffusion touch the mist sensor next to the RGB sensor ONCE A bleep will sound to indicate HIGH level diffusion Please note do not use in the HIGH level diffusion mode if the USB power capacity is less than 800mA The USB Mains adapter supplied is 1000mA 11 For a LOW level diffusion press the mist sensor twice a bleep will sound 12 To stop the diffusion press and hold the mist sensor for 3 seconds until the bleep sounds Diffusion will stop and the lights will turn off 13 If there is insufficient water in the water chamber the unit will automatically switch off Diffusion will stop and the lights will turn off Safety instructions Please read the safety instructions carefully BEFORE USE 1 Ensure the unit is placed centrally on a flat
4. surface 2 Do not exceed the stated water temperature 3 Do not overfill the water chamber Use the maximum water level guage 4 Disconnect from the power supply when not in use 5 Ensure the diffusion outlet where the mist escapes is not blocked or covered when in use 6 Disconnect from the power supply when refilling the chamber or undertaking any maintenance cleaning of the unit Maintenance cleaning instructions Please read the maintenance cleaning instructions BEFORE USE 1 After every use disconnect the USB adaptor from the power supply and remove the power lead from the underside of the unit 2 Remove the lid of the base unit and pour away any residual water NEVER drain the water through the diffusion outlet always remove the lid first 3 Wash the inside of the base unit carefully using a mild detergent on a damp cloth NEVER immerse the base unit in water or clean in a dishwasher DO NOT clean the unit with alcohol or alcohol based products only use a mild detergent 4 Ensure any residual particles of essential oil are removed 5 Check the diffusion outlet of the lid and clean remove any residue which may be blocking the outlet and hampering diffusion 6 Dry the unit and lid thoroughly Recommended diffusion times In their book Essential Oil Safety Tisserand amp Young 2014 recommend a period of 30 60minutes diffusion or 30 minutes on and 60 minutes off Please do not diffuse for too long It is advis
