AMERICAN WEIGH AMW 155 Digital Pocket Scale 150g x 0 1g AMW 155 Capacity 150g Graduation 0 1g E f USER S MANUAL American Weigh AMW 155 User s Manual 150g x 0 1g Thank you for purchasing the AMW 155 Digi tal Pocket Scale With normal care and proper treatment it will provide you with years of reliable service Please read all operating instructions carefully before using the scale It may be neces sary to calibrate the scale before its first use e Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold Your scale will work better when operating in normal room temperature Allways allow the scale to ac climate to normal room temperature for at least an hour before use e Give the scale sufficient warm up time before use Usually 30 to 60 seconds to give the internal components time to stablize e Keep your scale in a clean environment Dust dirt moisture vibration air currents or a close proximity to other electronic equipment can cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale e Handle with care Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the weighing surface Although this scale is designed to be quite durable avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor Do not shake drop or otherwise shock the scale This is a precision instrument and must be handl
2. ed with extreme care Only operate the scale on a stable vibration free surface e Always store in a dry place to avoid moisture accumulation on internal components Operation Place the scale on a horizontal flat surface 1 Press ON OFF key 2 Wait until 0 0 is displayed 3 Put the object s on the weighing platform 4 Using the MODE key you can switch between the weighing units Il Tare Weighing 1 Turn on scale as described above 2 Place the tare item on the platform 3 Press TARE and wait until 0 0 is dis played 4 Add the net weight item Ill Calibration First turn off the scale Then press and hold the CAL key at the same time press ON OFF shortly After 1 2 sec onds the scale will display a random number Now release the CAL key Wait 2 seconds and press ON OFF key again shortly the LCD display will read 2ero followed by 100 0 Place a 100g weight on the center of the platform Press ON OFF again the LCD display reads CAL then PASS and then 100 0 Remove the weight and press ON OFF to turn off the scale Finished IV Troubleshooting The primary reason for innaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries overload or operating on an unstable surface Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale properly This scale is a precision instrument and must be handled with care Error Code Descriptions Error Nothing on screen LO Solution Replace Batt
