User s Manual Geizo FP 2401W Panel Protector for EIZO 61 cm 24 1 inch class LCD Monitors e Please be careful not to scratch the LCD panel or the cabinet with the panel protector during installation Also please do not remove the panel protector often It may scratch or result in damage to the LCD panel e The panel protector has an anti glare treatment side and a glossy side Use preferable side e When using LCD monitor with optional panel protector it is preferable to avoid using downwards In this condition the panel protector might become bend or slip out from the monitor Installation Before installation please remove dust and stains from the LCD panel 1 Set the panel protector into the grooves of the panel frame the lower first 1 then the upper 2 2 With the enclosed tool Lever set the tabs of the panel protector into the side grooves 4 tabs Put the lever on the tabs of the panel protector and move it toward the LCD panel to install Position the protector into the LCD panel tightly without leaving an opening For the recommendation please use the stoppers to prevent the panel protector from bending or slipping out from the monitor 2 types of stoppers are included Check Applicable Models printed on the bag of the stoppers to use the appropriate type depending on the monitor Before installation the stoppers please remove dust and stains from the cabinet of the monitor Follow these steps to2. install the stoppers eel 1 Remove the protection paper from the stoppers 2 Install the stoppers on the cabinet of the monitor Removing Release the stoppers from the cabinet Put the lever on the tabs of panel protector and move it toward the cabinet to remove Cleaning e Please be sure to keep the panel protector immobilized while cleaning it Otherwise it may scratch the surface of the LCD panel To hold the panel protector by hand use a soft cloth to avoid dust or finger prints e Chemicals such as alcohol and antiseptic solution may cause gloss variation tarnishing and fading of the cabinet or panel and also quality deterioration of the image e Never use any solvents or chemicals such as thinner benzene wax alcohol and abrasive cleaner which may damage the cabinet or panel If necessary the stains on the cabinet and panel surface can be removed by moistening part of a soft cloth with water Ti e Itis recommended to use EIZO cleaning kit ScreenCleaner option to clean the panel Specification Anti glare side anti glare hard coating Glossy side hard coating pi ee _f E Coating strength 2H Reflectivity Less than 6 8 More than 90 Dimension Weight 521 1 mm W x 327 3 mm H x 1 0 mm D approx 210 g Lever for Panel Protector x 1 Stoppers 2 types x 4 User s Manual Copyright 2012 EIZO NANAO CORPORATION All rights reserved OONOL767A1 U M FP 2401W AL
