Step 1 Fully Charge your battery continued Please note that it could take several hours to charge a 18650 Li lon battery depending on the charger you have The HG 106Li charger included in our Deluxe kit takes approx 7 hours to charge a battery to full To charge with HG 106Li charger push the metal tab down until you can place the 18650 battery into the slot The positive end of the battery should be on the same side where charger LED light is located For Samsung 18650 battery included in the deluxe kit the positive end can be identified by a white circle around the positive contact point Push metal Charger LED Light tab down See inication below White circle on battery positive end on Samsung battery retractable wall plug behind During charging process When LED is steady Red Charging When LED is blinking Red Rapid Charging controlled by charger automatically When LED is Green and blinks Red in every 1 2 seconds Charge complete Sometimes when charge is completed the LED could also turn directly to steady Green Light no Red blinks HG 106Li charger is designed with auto shut off function after battery is fully charged You don t have to worry about over charging During charging process the battery and charger may feel a little warm This is normal In any event if you find battery or charger become very hot to touch you should stop charging immediately as you could have a malfunction

6. slot Battery Charger for 18650 type battery Use only 18650 Flat Top Batteries If you have the STM 1 Deluxe Kit it should come with two Samsung ICR 18650 26F Li lon rechargable batteries Samsung ICR 18650 26F is considered a very reliable Li lon battery With capacity of 2600mah it can last about 1 5 2 days or more on STM 1 when fully charged Two batteries allow you to rotate bewteen charging We recommend rotating batteries daily even though battery is still half full It can extend the life span of the battery For some of you may have concerns about the possiblitity of battery explosion STM 1 is designed with 4 amp limitation on its internal ciruit board In any rare event when battery current becomes extreme STM 1 will stop function before battery explode Of course we still strongly recommend you to use good quality 18650 batteries to protect your device Step 1 Fully Charge your battery Fully charge your new battery can extend the life span of your battery Most 18650 Li lon batteries come with only partially charged It is strongly recommended to fully charge your battery before first use If you have the STM 1 Deluxe Kit one of the 18650 battery is already installed to the STM 1 Main unit For shipping safety we have placed a round sticker on the Negative end of the battery to prevent accidental power ON Please remove the sticker before initial charging www steamecig com Electronic
