Iftron Tech stuff that works Yellow ac ket Pro 5 8 Operating Manual Rev B Intoduction The Yellow ac ket 5 8 Pro is the last word in diversity receivers We have spent the time to take this product to the next level with advanced features to delight usersand enhance receiver operation A few minutes spent reading this manual will greatly enhance your experience Features 1 7 channels from 5 740 to 5 860 GHz in 20 MHz steps 2 All 7 channels displayed directly without a channel group selection menu 3 Exclusive field strength meter RSSI meter built in This feature aidsin evaluating setupsand antenna placements The 7 channel indicators are used to indicate signal strength when not being used to show the current channel This feature can be tumed on off by the user menu 4 Exclusive automatic battery saver Upon tum on the unit determines the number of lipo cells 2 or 3 and wamsof an impending shutdown to protect the battery This feature can be tumed on off by the user menu 5 Ships with 2 custom single band 5 8GHz whip antennas Each hasa yellow identifying ring e Donotremove this ting orthey will quickly become confused with ordinary antennas Ask ushow we know e Do notuse other antennas even if they say they are for 5 8GHz use because most are actually dual band and will not perfom well 6 The option menu system is easy to use and usesthe channel and antenna LED s to indicate each yes no as well as
2. e Options To enterthe UserMenu Mode do the following 1 Start with the receiver OFF 2 PRESS and HOLD the button Receiver will enter User Menu Mode Release the button 3 Observe that LED 1 flashes indicating that you are at useroption 1 Briefly press the button until the LED cormesponding to the setting you wish to change illuminates Referto the User Settable Options list above forthe number of the option 4 Observe that the Yes No LED son the antenna display will tell you what the presently stored choice is Example If the Sound Option is presently set to ON the left LED will be on indicating Yes 5 To change a setting pressand hold the button until the selection mode is entered Briefly press the button to change your option choice Press and hold the button to store the choice and retum to the main menu 8 When you are satisfied with your choices from the main menu press and hold the button to exit the menu and restart the receiver NO Note Aseach choice is made each setting will be saved in non volatile memory Yellow acket is patent pending Yellow acket and YellowjJ acket Pro are copyright 2007 2008 by Iftron Technologies Inc All rights reserved
