Assembly Disassembly of valve head Type N General Information e The min max Air pressure to use the actuator is 4 7 bar g e Jtis also possible to use the actuator manually Use the lever Q handle to open and close the valve head Assembly 1 Mount the lever Q handle on the actuator and put it in open position The actuator is open when the handle is in horizontal position Fit and screw in the actuator into the valve body picture 1 Please note It is absolute necessary that the valve head is open when mounted The membrane can be serious damaged if the valve head is in closed pos 2 Tighten the actuator by use of the tommy bar clock wise picture 2 Picture 1 Picture 2 3 Connect open end of the Teflon air hose to air fitting on actuator picture 3 Please note The actuator will be very hot during the cleaning processes To avoid that a normal PU air hose melts while touching the actuator during the cleaning processes we suggest connecting a 40 45 cm long Teflon air hose which can stand the hot temperatures By choosing this option the other end of the Teflon hose will be supplied with a connection fitting picture 4 to be connected to the existing air hose Picture 3 Picture 4 Optional 4 Install the proximity switch to have an open close indicator Only available for W9 Valve For a correct installation please read our user manual Mounting of Proximity switch on Keofitt valve head W9 Type N Disa2. ssembly of the valve head 1 Disconnect the proximity switch and the air supply 2 Put the valve head in open position 3 Loose the Valve head by turning the Tommy bar anti clockwise 4 Mount off the complete valve head
