6. activated even when the machine is off To use this feature press the Child Lock button and hold down for 2 seconds The child safe icon will begin to flash When the icon stops flashing the feature is activated If any of the control buttons are pressed the child safe icon will flash and the machine will bleep 3 times no alterations to the control settings will be allowed If power is interrupted at any time pressing any button will reactivate the child lock feature To deactivate this feature hold the Child Lock button down for 4 seconds You will then hear a bleep and the child safe icon will go out Time Delay This feature allows you to delay the start of any wash programme elected The programme start can be delayed for a maximum of 20 hours To use this feature select the wash programme and any options you require and then press the Time Delay button once The display window will indicate 1hr Repeated pressing of the Time Delay button will increase the delayed start time in 1 hour increments up to 20 hours maximum and will scroll back to 0 hours Once you have selected the appropriate time delay press the Start button The display window will briefly show the temperature and time of the selected programme and then the set time delay The words Time Delay will continually flash in the display window and the time will count down in hours until the end of the Time Delay Then the Time to End wi

21. le with the selected wash programme A Red Baby Safe symbol is lit ZEEE This means that the machine has been child locked Deactivate this feature by pressing and holding in the Child Lock button for 4 seconds You will hear a beep and the Red Baby Safe symbol will go out allowing you to use the machine normally TROUBLE U Oo e V The door will not open Has the programme finished Is the End progress status light lit and a Red Keyhole symbol flashing 24 The door will not open until the Red Keyhole symbol goes out shortly after the programme has finished There is still water in the machine Go through all the points in the next section The machine will not pump out water The machine will not pump out the water Make sure that there is no blockage in the drain hose and that it is not kinked is the drain hose installed correctly If you have connected your machine to a sink waste system make sure that you have cut out the membrane from the under sink drainage system see section INSTALLING YOUR MACHINE Ensure that the drainage system standpipe or under sink connection is free from any blockage If any of the above are found to be the cause of your problem you will need to run the machine through a spin only programme If you have chosen Rinse Hold the light will flash until you press the Rinse Hold bu
22. ll be displayed and the programme will start E whe G O J v gt a 9z GO 19 VW Q b aW O o N Lil oe J Q c A 20 Options Option buttons Any of the following optional wash features can be selected after the wash programme selection with the exception of Fast Forward which can only be activated after the wash programme has started To choose an optional wash feature press the option button once or in some cases scroll through the options given in the display window How Dirty This option allows the washing machine to take into account how dirty the washing is You can select Normal Heavy or Light load soil level and the selected wash programme is modified accordingly This option is set automatically to Normal soiling which will be displayed adjacent to the How Dirty button Repeated pressing of the How Dirty button allows you to scroll through the Normal Heavy and Light soiling settings When you select the Heavy option the machine will automatically do a pre wash prior to your chosen programme You will therefore need to add detergent to the pre wash compartment in addition to the main wash compartment This is not available with the Rinse and Spin programmes Also Heavy soiling cannot be selected for the Wool Silk and Handwash programmes On the Fast Wash programme only Light soiling is available
23. nging the spin speed number of Wrinses or the programme temperature To choose a control option press the option button and scroll through the option menu s venom Tom ET following the display window prompts If the options is not available with a particular wash programme the machine will bleep 3 times Vangie jireF r Variable Spin This control option can only be used to reduce the spin speed of the selected programme The maximum spin speed for the selected programme will be illuminated in the display window then the Variable Spin button is pressed and you will hear a bleep By pressing the Variable Spin button again you will hear another bleep and the spin speed will have been reduced by 100rpm The spin speed can be reduced to zero with the exception of the Spin only programmes minimum 400rpm or you can scroll back to the original spin speed by repeatedly pressing the Variable Spin button This option ts available with all wash programmes including the Rinse and Spin only programmes Variable Rinse This control option can be used to add a rinse for people with sensitive skin or to delete a rinse to save water A rinse can be added to a wash programme by pressing the Variable Rinse button once you will hear a bleep and see Add Rinse illuminated in the display window adjacent to the Variable Rinse button To delete a rinse press the Variable Rinse button twice you wil
