1. Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector CO S1 Parts Description 1 Dual Color LED Indicator Amber amp Red 2 Learn Test Button Press the button to transmit a learn test code or silence the alarm Package Content 1 x CO Detector 1 x Mounting Bracket 2 x wall plugs and screws 3 x AA 1 5V alkaline batteries Learning Put the Control Panel into learning mode then press the Learn button to transmit learn code Refer to Control Panel manual to complete the learning process Installation Mounting Use the mounting bracket included in the package to mount the CO detector on the wall 1 Use the two holes on the mounting bracket as template drill two holes on the wall 2 Insert wall plug if fixing into plaster or brick 3 Screw the bracket onto the wall 4 Hook the CO detector onto the mounting bracket Mounting Bracket Mounting Holes Cae Carbon Monoxide Detection Upon CO detection the CO Detector will raise alarm with its built in siren and send alarm signal to Control Panel in different time length according to the CO concentration level detected Please see following table for reference FE CEOS CO concentration Time taken before level alarming 50 ppm 60 90 minutes 100 ppm 10 40 minutes Once the CO Detector has activated the alarm it will continue to resend the alarm signal every 10 minutes until the CO concentration level drops below 30 ppm The CO Detector will then send a restoratio
2. n signal and stop the alarm You can also press the learn test button to silence the alarm manually The CO Detector will then enter Alarm Silence mode Alarm Silence When the alarm is activated pressing the learn test button will put the CO Detector into Alarm Silence mode for 10 minutes During this period the built in siren will be silenced and the Amber LED will flash once per second After the 10 minute period is over the CO Detector will check the CO concentration again If the CO concentration is still over alarm threshold the CO Detector will sound the alarm and transmit alarm signal again If not it returns to normal operation Battery The CO detector uses three AA 1 5V alkaline batteries as its power source It features low battery detection function to notify the Control Panel when battery voltage is low Follow the procedure below to change the batteries 1 Loosen the screw on the back to open battery compartment cover 2 Remove the old batteries 3 Press the learn test button several times to fully discharge 4 Insert the new batteries observing correct polarity The CO detector will sound 2 short beeps RED LED will flash once 5 Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw LED Indicator Amber LED flashes Low Battery every 30 seconds Amber LED flashes CO Sensor fault quickly Red LED flash CO Detector is alarming Red LED on CO Detector is transmitting signal Specification Enviro
