U board in the following case e At the end of the life of MCUs with internal flash ROM Because the maximum number of iteration of writing into and erasing internal flash ROM is limited when it is at the end of its life replace the MCU for the emulator 2 Package Components Check to see if your M30830T EPBM package contains all the items listed below Package components M30830T EPBM MCU board for replacing M30830T EPB 1 piece M30830T EPBM user s manual this manual 1 piece M30830T EPBM user s manual Japanese 1 piece Tf any of these items are missing or found faulty contact your local distributor Tf there is any question or doubt about the packaged product contact your local distributor 3 Replacing MCU Boards How to replace MCU boards is shown in Figure 1 below PCA7501EPBA 1 Unscrew the four screws the emulation probe 2 Pull out the M30830T EPBM from the PCA7501EPBA vertically otherwise the connectors may be damaged M30830T EPBM 3 Attach connectors J1 and J2 of the new M30830T EPBM to connectors J3 and J4 of the PCA7501EPBA PCA7501EPBA respectively 4 Tighten the four screws in an even crisscross pattern to secure the new M30830T EPBM 5 After replacing the board perform the self check to make sure that it is installed properly X Figure 1 Replacing MCU boards A CAUTION Notes on Handling This Product Q e Before you replace the MCU board sh
