1. amp gt lopital Creating balance in healthcare Elexo Safety Instructions e Read the user manual carefully before use e Maximum load 180 kg e Ensure that the brakes are applied to the chair during patient transfers to and from the chair e Armrests closed during height adjustment 1a Operation Activate 2 seconds Important This instruction card should not be seen as a replacement for the user manual Instruction card Activate the Elexo by holding down the up button for 2 seconds Caution After use the Elexo will go into stand by mode within 60 minutes Set the chair to the correct position Apply brakes on the chair Open the armrests and if necessary fold up Support patient when they sit down Close the armrests etting out of chair occurs in reverse order 2 Brakes Unlock Brakes applied 1 Unlock 2 Swivel 3 Fold up Close in reverse order 4 Foldable foot supports Both foot supports need to be folded away when the patient sits down on the chair This can be done by folding up the footplates 1 or folding up and swivelling the complete support outwards 2 Ensure that the patient has both feet on the foot supports when manoeuvring 5 Charging After use attach chair to the charger for upkeep of the batteries Off Stand by Green Chair operational Orange Battery almost empty Red flashing Battery empty charge soon Red Battery empty charge im2. mediately The chair cannot al be operated during recharging 6 Bucket or bedpan holder When using a bucket or bedpan the seat cover needs to be removed and the bucket or bedpan inserted from behind under the seat in the special holder before the user sits down on the chair Cleaning After use each time the Elexo must be cleaned with hot water and a normal household detergent Do not use a scourer or any other aggressive solvent Check the wheels regularly for any hairs dirt and remains of soap and remove if necessary In the event of defects please contact your dealer
