5. otor which is connected to a double acting high pressure pump mechanism The grease is fed into the pump tube by the piston on the upward stroke and is pushed out through the check valve on the down stroke The relationship between the areas of the air piston and the pump piston decides the pressure ratio In this pump the pressure ratio is 65 1 and the theoretic static pressure when the pump has stopped against a closed outlet is 65 times higher than the air pressure When the outlet valve is opened the pressure drops and the pump starts to operate The air is exhausted through a sintered brass silencer e This is high pressure equipment Read carefully and follow these instructions and instruct staff concerned before installation and start up The equipment must not be used for other fluids than grease up to penetration NLGI 3 If any doubt contact Alentec amp Orion AB for additional information The pump must not be used with water based fluids or for pumping gasoline solvents or other explosive fluids Check that all accessories components are suitable for the working pressure of the system e Do not use higher air pressure than necessary to achieve a suitable operation Do not exceed the maximum air pressure of 1 0 MPa 10 bar The pipe system must be tested at 1 3 times the working pressure before being put into operation But remove first eventual hoses and components that do not withstand the test pressure All test r
