2. can use channel 5 for the strobe effect 2 When channel 6 is set to 0 31 and channel 5 is set to 0 you can then use channel 4 to obtain Colour mixing in this mode channel 1 2 and 3 have no function 3 When the value of channel 6 is between 32 223 you can use channel 5 to adjust the speed for Colour mixing or Colour changing 4 When the value of channel 6 is between 224 255 you can use channel 5 to adjust the sound sensitivity to the desired level Stage Wash 18 DMX Set up DMX 512 e DMX Digital Multiplex is a universal protocol used as a form of communication between intelligent fixtures and controllers A DMX controller sends DMX data instructions form the controller to the fixture DMX data is sent as serial data that travels from fixture to fixture via the DATA IN and DATA OUT XLR terminals located on all DMX fixtures most controllers only have a data out terminal DMX Linking e DMX is a language allowing all makes and models of different manufactures to be linked together and operate from a single controller as long as all fixtures and the controller are DMX compliant To ensure proper DMX data transmission when using several DMX fixtures try to use the shortest cable path possible The order in which fixtures are connected in a DMX line does not influence the DMX addressing For example a fixture assigned to a DMX address of 1 may be placed anywhere in a DMX line at the beginning at the end or

4. be controlled individually allowing the creation of an unlimited range of colours This unit will operate in Stand alone Master Slave Sound activated and DMX 512 control modes Stage Wash 18 Operation Operation There are 7 different operation modes to choose from 1 Static colour mode 3 Colour fade mode 5 Sound Active mode 7 DMX modes 2 Colour change mode 4 Auto Run mode 6 Master Slave mode 1 Static colour mode Mode button By pressing the MODE button under the LED display the LED display will show CL2 you can then select one of the 7 static colours using the UP and DOWN buttons The Colour options are 1 RED 2 Green 3 Blue 4 Yellow 5 Cyan 6 Purple 7 White 2 Colour change mode Mode button Press the MODE button until the LED display shows J92 then you can select the colour change speed using the UP and DOWN buttons The speed settings are from 01 99 01 slow 99 fast 3 Colour fade mode Mode button Press the MODE button until the LED display shows F99 then you can select the fade speed using the UP and DOWN buttons The speed settings are from 01 99 01 slow 99 fast 4 Auto run mode Mode button Press the MODE button until the LED display shows A now the unit will run in the Auto Run mode The run speed can be pre set by selecting the individual speed in the Colour fade and Colour change modes 5 Sound A

8. modify the equipment e Do not connect this equipment to a dimmer pack e Do not switch the equipment on and off in short intervals as this will reduce the system s life e Only use the equipment indoors e Do not expose to flammable sources liquids or gases e Always disconnect the power from the mains when equipment is not in use or before cleaning Only handle the power cable by the plug Never pull out the plug by pulling the power cable e Make sure that the available voltage is between 220v 240v e Make sure that the power cable is never crimped or damaged Check the equipment and the power cable periodically e If the equipment is dropped or damaged disconnect the mains power supply immediately Have a qualified engineer inspect the equipment before operating again e If the equipment has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation e g after transportation do not switch it on immediately The arising condensation might damage the equipment Leave the equipment switched off until it has reached room temperature e If your product fails to function correctly discontinue use immediately Pack the unit securely preferably in the original packing material and return it to your Prolight dealer for service e Only use fuses of same type and rating e Repairs servicing and power connection must only be carried out by a qualified technician THIS UNIT CONTAINS NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS e WARRANTY One year from date of purc
