A o w g e NS Registering an Additional Handset The CS6509A additional handset must be registered to the telephone base before use To register the additional handset to your CS6519A follow the instructions below 1 go oe ON Press and hold HANDSET LOCATOR on the base station for about five seconds the base station is entered into registration mode Press OK and a or cs to select REGISTRATION Press OK and a or ais to select the base station to register the handset Press OK and you are requested to enter the 4 digit system PIN Enter the 4 digit system PIN and press OK to confirm and begin registration NOTE lf the handset registration is successful the handset will automatically be allocated the next available handset number This handset number is shown in the handset display in standby mode If you have any problems with your phone refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING section of your CS6519A User s manual or call our Customer Service Hotline 2015 VTech Telecommunications Ltd All Rights Reserved2. vtech CS6509A ADDITIONAL HANDSET REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS This additional handset has been designed to operate with the CS6519A telephone system Please refer to your CS6519A user s manual for instructions on general functionality Package Contents e CS6509A handset e Handset charger and power adapter e NiMH rechargeable battery pack Setting up Your CS6509A Additional Handset The position in which you place the CS6509A charger could have an effect on the range and performance of your CS6509A 1 Plug the mains power cable into the charger base plug the other end into the mains power wall socket and switch the power on Mains power wall socket Charger adapter Charger NOTE Ensure the power cord is fed through the slot on the charger so the unit sits flush with the desk 2 Slide open the battery compartment cover Plug the battery connector securely into the socket 3 Place the battery the wires inside the battery compartment 4 Slide the battery compartment cover towards the center of the handset until it clicks into place 9 Place the handset in the base station or charger to charge for at least 14 hours OR CHARGE light de geovosoene Sececeece remains on when E E charging Qe w3 e3 T a conecrbna o gt DOO n iS KIN Orr C vtech aoe WS Kut SS a gt m Q z a T a H
