4. time O AutoPower Off 4 Beep Sound 3 Language AUTO POWER OFF The auto power off option is an auto shutdown feature which after a set time frame of inactivity not recording or standby the Carcam shuts off The auto power off feature consists of the following options e Off e 1 Minute default e 3 Minutes Mee Dem Auto Power OFF a M ine O BeepSound Skinutes E Language 3 SecurityMan LANGUAGE The language option lets you change the language of the Carcam The language feature consists of the following options e English default e French e Spanish e Portuguese e Dutch e Italian e Chinese e Russian e Japanese Date Time Auto Power Off Francais Beep Sound es zy Espa ol Portugu s FREQUENCY The frequency option switches between the two most commonly used refresh rates 6OHz and 50Hz By default the CARCAM SDEII is set to 6OHz which is standard for United Sates and Japan The frequency feature consists of the following options e 50Hz Standard for Europe and China e 60Hz default Standard for United Sates and Japan z Frequency Screensaver 50Hz oe Flip Screen Format SecurityMan SCREENSAVER The backlight option controls the time you want your screen to stay on before the screen turns oft during video recording For safety purposes it is recommended for the screen on the Carcam to not stay on whil

19. in a five inch square in the lower corner of the windshield nearest to the driver and outside of an airbag deployment zone or in a five inch square mounted to the center uppermost portion of the interior of the windshield As used in this section video event recorder means a video recorder that continuously records in a digital loop recording audio video and Gforce levels but saves video only when triggered by an unusual motion or crash or when operated by the driver fo monitor driver performance INTERIOR VIEW OF THE WINDSHIELD Based on California s vehicle code restriction amp requirement 6 SecurityMan 2 Using the suction cup and rotating bracket mount the CARCAM SDEII to the inside of your vehicles windshield use the adjustment knob to loosen and tighten the CARCAM SDEII as needed NOTE The CARCAM SDEII can also be used to record both exterior and interior front and rear of your vehicle For interior recording simply follow the steps above and rotate the camera so that the lens is facing the inside of your vehicle INSERT THE SD CARD Insert your micro SD card into the CARCAM SDEII s micro SD slot Make sure that you insert the in the correct direction as shown The SD card will make a clicking sound indicating it has been locked into the Carcam SecurityMan SecurityMan CONNECT THE POWER CABLE Connect the car chargers cable into the CARCAM SDEII s power socket loca
20. ing options e Off Disable e On Enable default NOTE Some states prohibit the use of audio recording Please make sure you contact your local law entorcement agency if you are unclear on your state laws and guidelines 15 Sm SecurityMan Date Stamp im Gsensor DATE STAMP The date stamp option is used to enable disable the date amp time stamp trom being displayed on playback videos The date stamp feature consists of the following options e Off Disable e On Enable default G SENSOR The G Sensor option is used to enable disable the Carcam s G force impact sensor which will lock the previous and current file from being deleted by the overwrite feature The Gforce acts as a sensor for the Carcam to secure any video files recorded in the event that the vehicle gets hit Any force that is acted upon the vehicle will result in locking the current recording video file NOTE Formatting the SD card will result in erasing all tiles including the locked video files The G Sensor feature consists of the following options e Off Disable e 1G default Represents 9 81m s2 of force passenger car turning on a corner e 2G Represents 19 62m s2 of force bump on the road e 3G Represents 29 43m s2 of force heavy braking in a car 4 Record Audio Date Stamp ee 7 SecurityMan BEEP SOUND The Beep sound enables disables the button sound e On default e Off al Jm Video settings Audio Recordin
