2. ains lead into a suitable power socket see n 2 page 5 Connect your speaker cabinets a to the output speaker sockets at the rear panel see n 8 page 5 with the 10 meter speaker cables supplied Make sure that the master volume is set to zero before powering on the amplifier to avoid possible damage to the speakers Finally set the MASTER volume to zero and push the Power Switch to the ON position The power switch will light up and your PA system is ready for use Should you experience any feedback coming from the speakers first diminish the volume of each channel in use in order to find amp suppress the microphone causing the feedback Then reposition this microphone preferably somewhere behind the speakers and reset the channel volume accordingly IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1 Read all instructions carefully 2e Keep this instruction manual for future reference 3e Please follow all instructions and heed all precautions as stated 4 Do not use this apparatus on or near water 5e Always use a polarized grounded plug as supplied A grounded plug has two blades and a third grounding prong The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety Do not compromise the integrity of its safety purpose by altering or modify this plug in any way If the provided plug does not fit into your mains outlet consult a qualified electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet 6 Protect the power cable from being walked on particularl

6. witch is located on the FRONT PANEL 2 MAINS This is the input socket into which the mains power cable must be connected This powered mixer is supplied with a power cable with a moulded on plug If the socket outlets in the home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this device use an appropriate plug adapter that can handle the power required for this powered mixer 3 FUSE In the event of the power fuse having to be replaced first unplug the power cable from the mains outlet Then remove the fuse cover and replace the power fuse with one of the same type and value Never plug the power cable back into the mains outlet without the fuse cover If when powering on the device the power fuse blows up again go to a suitable service centre for repair 4 VOLTAGE SELECT This switch selects the chosen voltage level between 120VAC and 230VAC as appropriate This switch may be accessed by unscrewing the safety cover Always make sure that the selected voltage level is in accordance with your electricity supply 5 CD TAPE IN These are two line level Phono Cinch inputs into which a CD Tape MP3 player may be connected Please note that both L and R inputs must be used in order for the sound to be reproduced in full 6 EFFECT SEND This PA system is equipped with an effects loop which allows you to plug outboard effects or EQ systems between the preamp and the power amp The SEND jack is a line level 1 4 9 6 3 mm output jack into which yo

8. y be used simultaneously 3 VOLUME This is the independent volume control for each channel The signal is sent to the master section Typical setting is between 4 and 8 depending on the channel s function Please note that this volume control acts as a preamp so if the channel is being used for a device that has a volume output control e g CD or Tape player some level matching by adjusting the level controls on each unit will be required 4 TREBLE This is the independent treble control to adjust the level of high frequencies in the output signal on both inputs of each channel 5 BASS This is the independent bass control to adjust the level of low frequencies in the output signal on both inputs of each channel 6 EFF This control is used to set the level of the internal effect Digital Reverb on PA4 200 and Digital Sound Processor on PA4 200 DSP blended in to the input signals of each channel MASTER SECTION FEATURES 1 EQUALIZATION BASS This controls the overall amount of low frequencies 50 Hz allowing 15 dB of boost or cut MIDDLE This controls the overall amount of middle frequencies 2 kHz allowing 12 dB of boost or cut TREBLE This controls the overall amount of high frequencies 10 kHz allowing 15 dB of boost or cut 2 CD TAPE This controls the overall level of any CD or Tape player connected to the apparatus via the CD Tape inputs on the rear panel 3 EFF RETURN This controls the sign
