9. temperature before putting it into the refrigerator To keep vegetables fresh in the crisper any water should be removed first otherwise the vegetables may spoil If you put the vegetables in a bag they may be stored for a longer period Note Cooked meals should always be stored on a shelf above raw meats to avoid any bacterial transfer Raw meat should be placed in a sealed container on the lowest shelf of the fridge e TEMPERATURE CONTROL The user can adjust the temperature of the fridge or freezer compartments by turning the control knob inside the refrigerator The top knob is used for controlling the temperature of the fridge while the lower one controls the temperature of the freezer Temperature decreases colder when the knobs are turned clockwise and increases less cold when turned anticlockwise e FROZEN FOOD STORAGE The temperature of the freezer can reach up to 18 C for long term food storage Any hot food must be cooled down to room temperature before it is put into the freezer The food should not be put too close to the outlet or inlet of the airflow as it may affect the air circulation Do not put glass containers filled with liquid into the freezer compartment as the glass may break e DOOR TRAY There are ventilation holes on the bottom of the door trays These are designed to increase airflow and the effectiveness of cooling inside the unit Try not to block all of them when you p
10. ut the food in e ICE TRAY The ice tray is to make ice cubes Fill with cold drinkable water to 4 5 high of the ice tray and place it in the freezer for about 2 hours When the cubes are fully frozen take the ice tray out and twist it back and forth to separate the ice cubes Do not over bend the ice tray to avoid breaking it 10 MAINTENANCE e CLEANING Always unplug the unit before cleaning The unit should be cleaned frequently both inside and outside using water and a little neutral detergent Never use boiling water harsh cleaning agents acid alkali or benzene etc Never use mechanical or other methods to accelerate the defrosting process Remove all the shelves and the salad bin To remove the salad bin first remove the lower door shelf Wipe the inside of the refrigerator with a damp cloth soaked in warm soapy water and then wipe with a dry cloth until dry e DEFROSTING The refrigerator is a frost free and does not require manual defrosting e CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB The light bulb can only be changed by an authorized service professional TROUBLESHOOTING The following phenomenon is normal e Sound like water running is caused by the refrigerant flowing inside the system pipe e While the unit runs heat is emitted from both sides of the refrigerator e When the environment is too humid the edges around the door may be a little moist wipe it with a dry cloth 11 Before calling for service please
