11. nit Keep the equipment packaging To fully protect the device against vibration dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage respectively NOTICE Possible data transmission errors For error free operation make use of dedicated DMX cables and do not use ordi nary microphone cables Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as mixers or ampli fiers Mounting the lamp If required loosen the thumbscrews to lock the music stand lamp so far that the surface on which you want to clamp the lamp fits between clamping panel and jaws Then put the lamp on this surface and tighten the thumbscrews again until the lamp stays securely in place th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 14 Installation themann 15 Starting up 5 Starting up Establish all connections as long as the unit is switched off Use the shortest possible high quality cables for all connections th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 16 Starting up Connections in DMX mode Connect the DMX input of the device to the DMX output of a DMX controller or another DMX device Connect the output of the first DMX device to the input of the second one and so on to form a daisy chain Always ensure that the output of the last DMX device in the daisy chain is terminated with a resistor 1100 1 4 W th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 17 Starting up

13. ss Turn it counter clockwise to decrease the brightness 24 Operating Align the lamp head as desired Then rotate the control CW COLOR TEMPERATURE WW to adjust a comfortable colour temperature between cold white right hand stop and warm white left hand stop 7 2 Starting the device in battery operation If there is no mains power available on site you can also power the device using the built in rechargeable battery For this the battery needs to be charged before Connect the cable of the mains adapter to the 9V socket on the rear panel of the device Then connect the mains adapter to a power outlet Charging starts A full charge takes about 2 5 hours and is sufficient for about 3 5 operating hours O During charging the lighting may be switched on or off With the lights on the 1 charging time may increase After charging is complete rotate the control DIMMER POWER SWITCH clockwise past the resistance to turn the device on The device is then ready for use th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 25 Operating If you want to control the brightness yourself the switch DIMMER MODE must be in MANUAL position Otherwise the brightness is adjusted via DMX control Rotate the control DIMMER POWER SWITCH clockwise to increase the brightness Turn it counter clockwise to decrease the brightness Align the lamp head as desired Then rotate the control CW COLOR TEMPERATURE WW to adjust
