8. ations we suggest that this be made with another person that will keep a firm hold on the doors of the appliance during the operations 1 Open the door and empty the shelves 2 Unscrew the screws of the upper hinge 1 3 Remove the door from the middle hinge pivot 2 4 Place the cover of the upper hinge into the holes on the opposite side 5 Screw off the screws of the middle hinge 3 6 Remove the plugs on the upper side of both doors and move them to the other side 7 Remove the lower door from the lower hinge pivot 4 8 Screw off the pivot of the lower hinge 5 and screw the lower hinge pivot 6 into the left drill of the lower hinge INSTALLATION 9 Screw off the screws of the lower hinge and remove the hinge 8 10 Screw off the lower cover plugs and screw them into the hole on the opposite side 7 11 Put the lower hinge on the opposite side and fix it with the screws 8 12 Place the lower door on the lower hinge pivot 9 13 Screw off the middle cover plugs and screw them into the hole on the opposite side 10 14 Put the middle hinge on the opposite side and fix it with the screws 11 19 INSTALLATION 15 Place the upper door on the middle hinge pivot 12 16 Fix the door with upper hinge and fix it with screws of it 13 17 Remove the door handle covers 3 Rem

13. iners or HINTS AND TIPS wrapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible e Bottles these need a cap and should be stored on the door bottle shelf or if equipped on the bottle rack e Bananas potatoes onions and garlic if not packed must not be kept in the refrigerator Hints for freezing To help you make the most of the freezing process here are some important hints e the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the rating plate e the freezing process takes 24 hours no further food to be frozen should be added during this period e freeze only top quality fresh and thoroughly cleaned foodstuffs prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required e wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight e do not allow fresh unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter e lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones salt reduces the storage life of food e water ices if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt e itis advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time Hints for storage of frozen food To obtai
14. n the best performance from this appliance you should 11 HINTS AND TIPS make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary once defrosted food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen e do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer 42 dh WARNING Refer to Safety chapters Periodic cleaning The equipment has to be cleaned regularly e clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap e regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris rinse and dry thoroughly Do not pull move or damage any pipes and or cables inside the cabinet Never use detergents abrasive powders highly perfumed cleaning products or wax polishes to clean the interior as this will damage the surface and leave a strong odour Defrosting Your appliance is frost free This means that there is no build up of frost when it is in operation neither on the internal walls nor on the foods The absence of frost is due to the continuous circulation of cold air inside the compartment driven by an automatically controlled fan Periods of non operation When the appliance is not in use for long periods take
15. nce In the event of accidental defrosting for example due to a power failure if the power has been off for longer that the value shown in the technical data chart under Rising time the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re frozen after cooling Freezing fresh food The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep frozen food for a long time To freeze small amount of fresh foods it is not necessary to change the present setting To freeze fresh food activate the QuickFreeze function at least 24 hours before placing the food to be frozen in the freezer compartment Place the fresh food to be frozen in the third compartment The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating plate a label located on the inside of the appliance The freezing process lasts 24 hours during this period do not add other food to be frozen When the freezing process is completed return to the required temperature see QuickFreeze Function In this condition the refrigerator compartment temperature might drop below 0 C If this occurs reset the temperature regulator to a warmer setting Thawing Deep frozen or frozen food prior to being used can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature depending on the time available for this operation Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen direc
