10. in a room that is dry and clean FILLING THE WATER RESEVOIR OM Be Remove the carafe from the hotplate Lift the lid off the reservoir Fill with at least 2 cups of water but not above the max mark Replace the reservoir lid The arrow on the lid must point towards the appliance Alternatively you may lift the reservoir off the appliance fill it in the kitchen and carry it back to the appliance If you do this make sure that the reservoir is in place and catches the top of the reservoir and is hooked over the tabs in the body of the appliance before you proceed FILLING THE FILTER HOLDER Press the lid lock to open the filter lid Put 6g 1 rounded teaspoon of filter ground coffee in the filter for each cup of water Close the lid and press down to lock it Replace the carafe on the hotplate SWITCHING ON Put the plug into the power socket The appliance will beep The power light will glow as long as the appliance is connected to the electricity supply Press and release the power button e Shortly afterwards coffee will start to drip into the carafe When it s done the hotplate will keep the carafe warm The status light will change colour to show how fresh the coffee is blue flashing brewing green 0 15 minutes since brewing purple 15 30 minutes since brewing red 30 40 minutes since brewing After 40 minutes the hotplate will switch off Note
