1. _ 7 auf LE Lee Woolich Racing Zeitronix ZT 3 Wideband O2 Installation Instructions ZEITROMIX 71 3 WIDEBAND AIRYFUEL RATIO METER hy SV el II 7 ew eg Ze 1 Introduction This guide covers the installation of the Zeitronix ZT 3 Wideband O2 Controller using the Woolich Racing Wideband O2 Installation Kit The installation is described in detail in this guide and should take approximately 30 60 minutes to complete Note The bike used for this installation is a 2012 ZX10R the mounting location and wire routing will vary depending on your model but the installation procedure is the same for all models 2 Hardware To install the Zeitronix ZT 3 you should have the following hardware as supplied with your Zeitronix ZT 3 and Wideband Installation Kit 1 Zeitronix ZT 3 2 Zeitronix 4 wire power harness 3 Zeitronix Wideband O2 Sensor 3ft cable 4 Wideband O2 bung 5 12v Relay 6 4 push on connectors and covers 7 2 6mm battery terminal connectors 8 1 Wire Tap 9 Black and Red Wire 10 Double sided Velcro 3 Tools The following tools will be useful when installing the Zeitronix ZT 3 1 Side cutters 2 Pliers 3 Soldering Iron 4 Multimeter 5 Scissors hy Vz IT 4 Mounting point for ZT 3 and Relay Remove the seat and rear body work from your bike and locate a suitable mounting point for the Zeitronix ZT 3 and 12v Relay Do not mount the ZT 3 and relay at this point

4. 3 Install and solder 6mm eye connector to 2 black wires hy _ hf ll II Fiemme You Dike To The 14 Apply heat to heat shrink to seal connecto 15 Measure and cut a piece of red wire from pin 30 on 12v relay to ve battery terminal 16 Install push connector and cover on one end of red wire and connect to pin 30 on 12v relay hy _ hf ll II Femme eoun Zeen To The 17 Slip heat shrink over red wire on battery end 18 Install and Solder 6mm eye connector to battery end of red wire hy SV el II 7 CIT 19 Apply heat to heat shrink to seal on connector end hy SV el sr e LTEC Teme Sawn Like To The L r 20 Install push connector and cover on red wire from ZT 3 power harness 21 Push connector onto pin 87 of 12v relay 22 Remove ve battery terminal and put 6mm bolt from battery terminal through eye connector from black wires 23 Reinstall ve battery terminal 24 Remove ve battery terminal and put 6mm bolt from battery terminal through eye connector from red wire 25 Reinstall ve battery terminal 26 Plugin ZT 3 power supply harness to ZT 3 27 Before powering on the bike Check all of your wiring 28 Turn on the key to the bike and the relay should click indicating the relay has engaged then the Orange LED on the ZT 3 should begin flashing hy Vz IT 7 Mount ZT 3 and Relay Use the supplied double sided Velcro tape to mount both the relay and the ZT 3 to th

X Zt3 WIDEBAND AIR FUEL RATIO METER Oo N W m iz LI Ka Viva 1 hy E d sr e Locate a switched power Euro be used to switch the relay A switched power supply wire is one that is powered on when the key is turned on and powered off when the key is turned off A good option is the tail light centre wire in tail light plug below for 2012 ZX10R Test the switched power supply with a multimeter to ensure it has 12v when the key is turned on and Ov when the key is turned off m hy LS LI 7 2 Measure a length of red wire to go from the switched power supply wire to pin 86 on the 12v relay 3 Use the supplied Wire Tap to tap into the switched power supply wire hy WEEE Tune Youn Dike To Tne 7 4 Use pliers to crimp the terminals on the wire tap to the switched power wire and the red wire hy WEEE Teme oun Dike To The 5 Close the latch on the wire tap a f DA AN hoa eg SPARF GO Isa aas n ban SPA w hy ac 8 Push connector onto terminal 86 on 12v relay hy _ hf ll II Femme You Dike To Ze 9 Measure and cut a piece of black wire from pin 85 on relay to ve terminal on battery 10 Install push connector and cover on one end of black wire and connect to pin 85 on relay 11 Join black wires from relay and ZT 3 power supply harness hy WEEE Teme oun Dike To The 12 Slip heat shrink over black wires 1
7. e bike Cl S e gt y DN hy WII ew eg Ze Teme Sne Bike To Whe L in 8 Final Installation Reassemble any components you may have taken off your bike during the install SV el II 7 ew eg Ze Warranty Woolich Racing Warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below Woolich Racing warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for the period of one 1 year The warranty period begins with the date of original retail purchase This limited warranty is made only to the original end user purchaser you of the product and does not extend to any subsequent purchasers or owners of the product The original end user is the first user to put the product into service in any fashion It is your responsibility to establish the warranty period by verifying the original purchase date If you discover a defect Woolich Racing will at its option repair or replace this product with a new or reconditioned product at no charge to you provided you return it during the warranty period with transportation charges prepaid to Woolich Racing Please attach your name address telephone number and a copy of the receipt from Paypal as proof of date of original purchase as well as a detailed description of the problem for which service is requested You are responsible for packing the product to be returned If the repairs are covered by the Limited Warranty and if the product was properly shipped
