Vacuum Cleaner Instruction Manual    Model RS2283VC     Insert product image here     RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE    TECHNICAL INFORMATION  Please make sure that your house installation voltage corresponds to  the voltage marked on the unit     Mains supply  220 240V   50 Hz     AC only  Rated Power  1200 Watts    BEFORE FIRST USE    e Your vacuum cleaner has been packaged carefully to ensure the  product reaches you in good condition  If the product has been  damaged  dropped  has a malfunction in any way  or if the supply  cord is damaged  immediately contact your retailer for replacement  or repair    e Carefully unpack your vacuum cleaner  Make sure you do not  discard any packaging material until all parts of the vacuum cleaner  have been found    e Carefully wipe the exterior of the cleaner to remove any dust that  may have accumulated  Dry with a dry towel  Do not use harsh  abrasive cleaners  Remove any label or sticker    WARNING  Do not immerse in water or any other liquids     OPERATION    e Carry the vacuum cleaner to the area to be vacuumed    e Fit the hose  extending tubes and floor tool to the vacuum cleaner   Ensure that the vacuum dust bag is correctly fitted  WARNING   Never use without the dust bag and main cloth filter fitted  Note  The  dust compartment door will not close without a dust bag correctly  fitted    e Extend or retract the brush on the main floor tool as required for the  type of floor to be vacuumed  Extend brush for h

5. recautions should  always be followed including the following     1  Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance   VERY IMPORTANT  Do not immerse in water or other liquids or  use near washbasins or sinks  Ensure that the appliance does  not get wet  water splashes etc   and do not use it with wet    hands    3  Safely dispose of plastic bags and other components of the  packaging  They may be potentially dangerous to children    4  WARNING  Unplug from mains outlet when appliance is not in  use or Cleaning    5  An appliance dropped or damaged should not be used until  examined by a service engineer    6  Do not permit the mains lead to come in contact with hot  objects    7  If the supply cord is damaged  it must be replaced by the    manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person  in order to avoid a hazard    8  CAUTION  Keep out of reach of children  This vacuum cleaner  is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons   Young children must be supervised to ensure that they do not  play with the vacuum cleaner     9  Use this appliance only for its intended use  Use only genuine  attachments supplied by an authorised Service Dealer    10  This vacuum cleaner is intended for household use only and not  for commercial or industrial use    11  The vacuum cleaner should not be used outdoors  or placed    near a hot gas or electrical burner     12  WARNING  Any appliance should never be left unattended  when plugged in    13  If
