5.  press the PLAY button to cook with 100  microwave power for     30 second duration  Each time you press on the same button then the cooking period will  increase by 30 seconds  The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes    TIP 2  In standby mode  you can also turn the control dial to adjust the cooking time  still at  100  microwave power  then press the PLAY button to start cooking    TIP 3  During the microwave cooking cycle and defrost by time process  you can press the  PLAY button to increase the cooking or defrost period of time by 30 seconds  If using an  auto menu or defrost by weight then the cooking or defrost period of time cannot be    14    increased     DEFROST BY WEIGHT       The time and the defrosting power levels are adjusted automatically once the weight is  programmed in     FOR EXAMPLE  Suppose you want to defrost food     1  Place food to be defrosted into the microwave         Press the WEIGHT DEFROST      button once and the screen will display dEF1   Turn the control dial to select the necessary weight of your food  The range is 100 2000g   4  Nowpress PLAY to start defrosting     DEFROST BY TIME       The weight and the defrosting power levels are adjusted automatically once the time has been  programmed in     FOR EXAMPLE  Suppose you want to defrost food     1  Place food to be defrosted into the microwave     2  Press the TIME DEFROST 65  button once and the screen will display dEF2   Turn the control dial to select the desired defrost cycle time  Th

G               To use the grill        cook combination  press the GRILL  COMBI       button once  The LED    will display           Press GRILL  COMBI a number of times to select the desired power level  It  will show either               C 1    or    C 2    each time you press GRILL  COMBI  Then press PLAY to    13    confirm your power level selection  Now turn the control dial to set a desired cooking time from    0 05 to 95 00 minutes  Press PLAY again to start cooking     For example  suppose you want to use 55  of microwave power and 45  grill power  C 1  to    cook for 10 minutes     gr E            Press the GRILL  COMBI button once and  G  will show on the LED display    Press GRILL  COMBI again or turn the control dial to choose combi  1 mode    Press PLAY to confirm this selection  The LED display will show    C 1       Now turn the control dial to adjust the cooking time until the LED display shows    10 00        Press PLAY to confirm this selection and start cooking     Display Microwave Power Grill Power      NOTE  If half the amount of grilling time passes and the oven chimes twice  this is normal        This is built in for your convenience  In order to achieve better grilling results  the chime  reminder is there to indicate that you should turn the food over  Once turned  you should  close the door and press PLAY to continue cooking     QUICK START       This feature allows you to start the microwave quickly     a     b                 1  In standby mode

13. e range goes up to 95  minutes    4  Nowpress PLAY to start defrosting  The defrost power is P30 and it cannot be changed     The following example shows the steps to set up a program multi stage cooking programme   Some recipes may require setting a multi stage program involving defrosting as well as different    microwave power levels        15    IN MULTI STAGE COOKING       A maximum of two stages can be set  If one stage is defrosting  it should be inputted in at the    first stage  The alert tone will ring once after each stage and the next stage will begin  Note     The auto menu cannot be set as a selection of multi stage cooking     Example  suppose you want to defrost food for 5 minutes  then cook with 80  microwave    power for 7 minutes  The steps are as follows     E    NS          Press TIME DEFROST once and the LED screen will display dEF2    Turn the control dial to adjust the defrost cycle time to 05 00 minutes    Press MICROWAVE once  The LED display will show    P100       Now turn the control dial to choose 80  microwave power  P80 will show on the LED  display    Press PLAY to confirm this selection    Turn the control dial to adjust the cooking cycle time to 07 00 minutes    Finish your multi stage selection by pressing the PLAY button to start cooking     A handy chime will sound once for the first selection where the defrosting time will begin    counting down  The chime will sound twice thereafter when the unit has entered the second    stage of cooki

19. ode  you can press CLOCK  KITCHEN TIMER to  enquire the time for delayed start cooking  The preset time will flash for 2 3 seconds and    then the microwave will return back to the usual clock display     18    CHILD LOCK       Use to prevent unsupervised operation of the microwave by children     To set the CHILD LOCK  Press and hold the PAUSE  m  button for 3 seconds  A beep will  sound indicating that the child lock function has been activated and the display will show the    LOCKED        2 indicator     To cancel the CHILD LOCK  Press and hold the PAUSE button for 3 seconds until the beep has  sounded and the lock indicator on the display goes off     KITCHEN TIMER       Press the CLOCK  KITCHEN TIMER button once  The LED will display 00 00 and the clock  indicator will light    Turn the control dial to enter the correct time   The maximum time is 95 minutes     Press PLAY to confirm the setting  The clock indicator light will light indicating your selection   When the desired kitchen time has been reached  the clock indicator light will disappear  The  handy chime will ring 5 times     Note  The Kitchen Timer is purely a timer and must not be confused with Setting the Clock  If  the clock is set  using the 24 hours system  then the LED will display the current time     GETTING TO KNOW YOUR NEW MICROWAVE       e A beep or alert tone will sound once when turning the knob at the beginning   e PLAY must be pressed to continue cooking if the door is opened during the cooking
