If phone numbers have not been previously saved into the memory  the  device will automatically switch to the number saving mode  To change  previously stored numbers  press the button once when the flashing  yellow indicator light turns green    3  Save phone numbers and press the action key once     4  Wait for the green light to start flashing to indicate the device is in  standby mode     5  Send SOS ALARM SMS messages when needed by a single press of  the action key     6  Turn off the device by pressing and holding the button until all three  indicator lights are illuminated simultaneously  Release the action  button     7  Remember to charge the battery as needed     6 11   Soneco Oy       1  Charging the battery     To charge the battery  connect the plug of the charger to the charger connector  located on the side of the device  The yellow indicator light is illuminated  constantly during charging whether or not the device is switched on  When the  battery is fully charged  the yellow indicator light switches off  The normal charging  time of an uncharged battery is about two hours  Charging is possible in all  function modes of the device  The yellow light is not illuminated when saving  numbers and during normal starting of the device     You can charge the battery every night if you like  because overcharging is  prevented     NOTE  If the battery becomes fully discharged  for example  after being stored  unused for over 3 months   it has to be pre charged  Pre c

3.  function key once  The  device will send the SMS message  SOS ALARM    to the numbers saved in the  memory  During sending of a text message the green indicator light will illuminate  momentarily after which the device will switch back into function mode     If the device gives three sound signals and the red indicator light flashes  three times  sending one or both of the SMS messages has failed  Wait for  the device to switch back into function mode and then try sending the SMS  again     6  Switching off the device     To switch off the device  press the function button continuously until all three  indicator lights turn on  Release the button  The device will give a sound signal  and the indicator lights will illuminate for approximately 5 seconds as the device  switches off     Warranty     Soneco Oy Ltd is not responsible for faults in the device caused by incorrect or  careless use or use that is contrary to this user guide  or connection of the device  to another device  or if the device has been repaired  opened  or otherwise  modified or installed incorrectly  Neither is Soneco Oy Ltd responsible for a fault in  the device caused by inadequate mobile phone network operation or changes  made to the mobile phone network     9 11   Soneco Oy       Warranty clause     This warranty is valid in Finland  and it does not limit the application of currently  effective mandatory Finnish legislation  such as Consumer Protection Act  to the  purchase of the device     Soneco O

7. harging is started  automatically when the charger is plugged into the device  When the charger is  turned on  the yellow indicator light will flash slowly  Pre charging takes about one  hour  after which normal charging begins  If the normal charging does not begin  after about an hour  disconnect the charger for a while  and reconnect it to the  device  If normal charging still does not begin after an hour of pre charging   contact the place where you bought the device or an authorised service point     NOTE  We recommend you do not leave the device uncharged for an extended  period of time  more than 3 months   because then the charge may drop too low  and the protective mechanisms of the battery may prevent its normal charging     Low battery warning     If the battery charge drops to 20   of full capacity  the yellow indicator will blink  five times in succession and the device will give a sound signal  This is repeated  about once a minute  until the device is connected to the charger or the battery  becomes fully discharged  Approximately half an hour after the battery alarm has  started  the device will also send a  BATTERY 20     SMS message to the first  saved number if a charger is not plugged into the device before this     2  Starting up     Start the device by pressing and holding the function key  The yellow indicator  light will illuminate for a moment  The yellow indicator light will start flashing  and  the device gives a sound signal  Release the function k

10. y Ltd grants the device a twelve  12  month warranty and the devices  battery a six  6  month warranty  The warranty period begins on the day when the  first user gains possession of the device     Soneco Oy Ltd or its authorised retailer shall repair or replace a faulty device at  their own discretion     This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or the carrying strap supplied  with the device  Soneco Oy Ltd does not grant a warranty if the device is used  contrary to this user guide  improperly or carelessly  or if the device is connected  to another device  or if the device has been repaired  opened  or otherwise  modified or installed incorrectly  Neither is Soneco Oy Ltd responsible for a fault in  the device caused by inadequate mobile phone network operation or changes  made to the mobile phone network     If the user wishes to invoke the warranty granted by Soneco Oy Ltd  the user has  to present a legible receipt of purchase to Soneco Oy Ltd or the retailer of the  device  The user has to invoke the warranty regarding a fault in the device during  the warranty period within two months of the date when the user discovered the  fault or when it should have been discovered     Soneco Oy Ltd is not responsible for any other demands the user may have that  are not connected to this warranty  unless the mandatory Finnish legislation  dictates otherwise     The device is only operational in areas with GSM network coverage at times when  the network is operational
