2. 1 Make sure that the device is turned off disconnected from the mains and completely cooled down 2 Place the unit in a well ventilated place 3 If there s still fog fluid present in the device pour it out and fill the fog machine cleaner into the fluid container SF 1000 th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 27 Cleaning 4 Connect the device to the mains and turn it on with the main switch The red lights on the device and on the remote control light up and thereby indicate that the unit heats up 5 As soon as the required temperature is reached the green LED on the remote control lights up Use the CONT switch to switch the unit to continuous operation and wait until the fluid container is empty 6 Thecleaning is completed Turn the power off and wait until the unit is fully cooled down before you fill in fog fluid again themann fog machine MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 28 Protecting the environment 10 Protecting the environment Disposal of the packaging mate rial For the transport and protective packaging environmentally friendly materials have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling Ensure that plastic bags packaging etc are properly disposed of Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste but make sure that they are collected for recycling Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging Disposal of your old device This device is subje

6. evice is heating up Push button CONT Press this button to turn continuous operation on or off In this mode that amount of fog is continuously output which you have set with the VOLUME control The yellow LED indicates that the Timer function is active Push button TIMER Use this switch to turn the Timer function on or off In this mode the amount of fog set by the VOLUME control is output within the time intervals that you have set with the INTERVAL control SF 1000 themann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 21 Operation 6 Operation Filling the unit themann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION NOTICE Possible damages caused by unsuitable fog fluid Fog liquids not approved by the manufacturer may permanently damage the unit Only use the fog fluids listed on www thomann de and follow their instructions for use First make sure the unit is switched off Open the screw cap of the container and fill in the fog fluid Make sure that no fluid is spilled or gets into the device The easiest way is using a funnel The container capacity is 1 5 litre Screw the cap firmly back in fog machine 22 Operation Turning the unit on NOTICE Fire hazard Do not operate the machine unattended Make sure that the remote control is connected Connect the device to the power grid and turn it on with the main switch The red LEDs on the unit and the remote control light up thus indicating that the unit is heating up As s

11. oon as the required operating temperature is reached the green LED on the remote con trol lights up The unit is now operational SF 1000 th mann MUSIC IS OUR PASSION 23 Operation Operating modes The device supports the following operating modes which can be selected with the remote control Manual operation with maximum amount of fog Press the MANUAL button This mode takes precedence over all others That means that you don t have to turn off the timer function and continuous operation before you press the button M Continuous operation with adjustable fog output In this mode the amount of fog that you have set with the VOLUME control is ejected uni formly Press the CONT switch to turn this mode on or off Timer controlled operation with adjustable fog output In this mode the amount of fog that you have set with the VOLUME control is periodically ejected adjustable with the INTERVAL control Press the TIMER switch to turn this mode on or off The yellow LED lights up when the timer function is active Each fog ejection lasts for about 13 seconds When the fog fluid in the container is depleted the pump is automatically turned off Once you fill up the fog fluid the pump is turned back on again Turning the unit off Turn off the power using the main switch Transport the device only when it is completely cooled down To avoid leaking fog fluid during transport you should transport the device only with empty fluid co
