9. off the helmet communicator press and hold the Answer button for 5 seconds The status indicator will blink red 5 times followed by a long beep before fully shutting down Power Save Mode Auto Power Off e If the intercom feature has been in use and all Bluetooth devices have been disconnected the system will auto shutdown in 2 hours If the intercom feature has not been in use and the HBC220 SNOW is not connected to any other devices the system will auto shutdown in 10 minutes Low battery e When the battery level is low the status indicator light will flash red twice every 2 seconds while emitting a warning beep every minute UCLEAR 14 General Operations Charging the Unit e To charge the helmet communicator connect the provided charging cable to the speaker charging socket Upon charging if the unit is on the system will automatically initiate power down Volume Control e The volume control of the helmet communicator can be controlled using the Up and Down buttons Pressing the Up or Down button will increase the volume respectively The volume control for each mode is independent of each other Automatic Speaker Loudness Communication only e The speaker loudness will be automatically adjusted depending on the environment noise level However you can still adjust the volume manually Automatic Pairing e The helmet communicator has the ability to connect to the last paired device automatically for two features

EAR HBC220 SNOW helmet communication system comes with 3 types of mounting brackets a goggle attachment clip a side mounted helmet strap and a metal mounting bracket Use any one of the brackets to install the HBC220 control unit onto your helmet UCLEAR 11 GPS Device To use a GPS device with the UCLEAR HBC220 SNOW the two must first be paired Pairing the HBC220 SNOW to a GPS Device Turn on the HBC220 SNOW helment communicator and GPS device eTo connect the helmet communicator to a GPS device hold the Up and Down buttons for 2 seconds This puts the helmet communicator into paring mode The status indicator will blink blue and red alternately Next turn on the GPS device Bluetooth functions and search for Bluetooth audio devices Select HBC220 SNOW to pair with the desired device elf your GPS device prompts for a passcode enter O000 eYour GPS device will confirm that pairing has succeeded Note To make calls through the HBC220 SNOW you may need to pair your mobile phone to the GPS device by following the instructions of the GPS device UCLEAR 24 Intercom Operations Intercom Phone Call and music Switching All the intercom units can be connected to phone during operation Phone call has the highest priority If you are currently in intercom mode incoming call will interrupt the intercom and after the phone call intercom will be resumed immediately If you are currently having a phone call incom

18. music and mobile phone e Automatic pairing of the helmet communicator with music devices is dependent on the music devices Automatic Profile Switch e The helmet communicator supports multiple profiles concurrently but at any point of time only one profile is active The automatic profile switch determines which profile should be active at any point of time starting from the highest priority 1 Mobile Phone functions 2 Intercom functions and 3 Music functions e The helmet communicator can be paired to more than 1 device UCLEAR 15 Intercom Operations Two Party Intercom To use the intercom for the first time you must pair your communictor to another HBC220 SNOW unit Pairing process needs to be carried out only once 5 aN Quien e Helmet 1 1st device Hold Answer and Down Button Hold Answer and Up Button a NZ Em oy a v Pairing With both helmet communicators powered off hold for 3 seconds Answer and Down buttons on one unit releasing when you see a red light Then hold Answer and Up buttons on the other releasing when you see red light The indicators of both helmets would blink purple When both of the communicator s status indicator turns blue the pairing process is successful It is recommended to restart the devices after the pairing process Start Intercom To enable the intercom hold the Up button for 2 seconds Stop Intercom To disable the intercom hold th
19. n and Answer buttons for 2 seconds The accuracy of this function is dependent on the mobile phone UCLEAR 16 Mobile Phone Operations Last Number Redial eTo redial the last number hold the Up and Answer buttons for 2 seconds The capability of this function is dependent on the mobile phone used 3 way Calling Whilst on a call if an incoming call comes in you may answer the call by pressing the Answer button once eTo swap between 2 concurrent calls press the Answer button once eTo end a call during a 3 way call holding the Answer button for 2 seconds would end the active call Upon terminating the active call the call on hold would automatically be the active call Music feature elf the mobile phone supports AZDP AVRCP profile user may activate the music by playing it directly from the phone or by controlling the music via the helmet communicator To operate refer to Music Streaming Operations section Should the documented steps not work refer to the phone user manual on how to activate the A2ZDP AVRCP feature UCLEAR 1 Music Streaming Operations To use the helmet communicator with your music devices you must connect them wirelessly through Bluetooth pairing This step is only required for Bluetooth music streaming devices Pairing e To connect the helmet communicator to a Bluetooth music device turn power on hold the Up and Down buttons for 2 seconds This puts the helmet communicator into pairing mode T
