GYROPNIC O NAWI Silicon MEMS Gyro Module v STANDARD FEATURES E Low Cost High Performance MEMS Gyro E Solid State Reliabilty E Versatile Analog Interface E On Board Temperature Monitor E Secure Mounting Points E Compact Package E Low Power 37 5mW E Single 5V Supply PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DESCRIP TION The GyroPAK3 is a complete single axis silicon MEMS angular rate gyro module The GyroPAK3 is a rugged reliable rate gyro pakaged in a 20mm2 module with integral mounting holes for M2 and SAE 2 56 fasteners The module is ideal for stand alone and multi axial configurations The module requires a a single 5V supply and consumes only 38mW of power Available in 150 s and 300 s dynamic range models with optional gain output sensitivities to 15 s full scale are possible The rate output increases with clock wise rotation and is buffered to drive up to 30mA An unbuffered temperature output is also provided for thermal compensation if desired The interface header is a 1 5mm pitch for convenient wire to board connections and has a detent locking feature for reliable contact in dynamic environments The wire to board connection scheme alows the module to be mounted in any orientation or in multiple axis if required Optional cable sets are available for speeding integration An evaluation kit is available with a everything needed to power and test a GyroPAK3 The kit includes a GyroPAK3 connecting cables AC power2.
