User Manual Overview GI i a a a a a a aa a a a a a aa a a a T d16 group Overview 3 Decimort is a stereo high quality ultra low aliasing bit crusher 1 After loading the plug in within a host application the GUI will appear Decimort graphical interface There are two sections e Configuration and preset management Configuration and preset management section e Signal processing control section consists of the all remaining controls IDECIMORT Signal flow e Basic modules A eecececocococococococococccececececocococococococococococococcececececococococococococococococococcecececocococococococococococococecececococococococococococococococcecececocococococococooo i d16 group Signal flow 3 This chapter describes the path of the signal s flow through the Decimort plug in presents the basic components 2 of this effect unit and its control parameters Basic modules 3 The inside of Decimort consist of a few basic components that correspond to the sections on the graphical interface Dual decimation unit 3 It is able to process two channels separately left and right of stereo channel in stereo mode or only single channel left in mono mode 3 Decimator is controlled by two parameters e Bits Number of bits the input signal is downgraded to Values we can choose from range 1 to 16 bits and additional value Off which means the input signal won t be downgraded in amplitude dom2. iz Loads link lists MIDI maps from file dcccmap Decimort MIDI CC Map gt Note MIDI map bi Saves link lists MIDI maps to file files are saved in XML format which enables their edition in any text editor DECIMORT Configuration e Midi control tab e Presets tab d16 group Default MIDI Map 3 Selecting a default MIDI Map 4 Default Map Default MIDI Map selection 1 Check the Default Map checkbox which activates the Browse button on the right 2 Click Browse and select a file with a saved MIDI Map After selecting the MIDI map the text box on the left from the Browse button shows the path to the active map file Adefault MIDI map is loaded each time when the plug in is loaded Presets tab 3 Preset Storing Using Prev Next buttons or the Preset Browser navigates through the preset bank Any change in the current preset can be stored automatically or on demand Depending on the selection one of the two options is active Preset Storing Automatic On Demand Preset Storing flag Deano E E 17 Configuration e Presets tab G eececoecococococococococococcecececocococococococococococococcecececececocococococococococococococcecececocococococococococococococcececococococococococococococococcecesocococecocococecooo d16 group e Automatic Any change of a parameter in the current preset is automatically stored e On Demand If any parameter is changed the change is not sa

CC Parameter CC Parameter CC Parameter Midi Control tab 3 Controls included in the tab e Midi learn mode Checkbox which activates Midi learn mode e Alist of active MIDI CC links containing pairs comprising of a CC code and the name of the plug in parameter e Default Map Checkbox which activates a default MIDI CC map When the map is activated it will be loaded with creating a new instance of the plug in Deano E Gig Configuration e Midi control tab A eececoecococococococococococececoececocococococococococococococcecececececocococococococococococceocececocecocococococococococococococcececocococococococococococococococecesecocececocococecooo i d16 group Midi learn Assigning a Decimort control to the MIDI controller requires 4 1 Checking Midi Learn Mode checkbox in the Midi Control tab Midi Learn Mode CC Parameter Midi Learn mode selection checkbox 2 Inthe status bar in the bottom section of GUI a message should appear waiting for a controller or parameter movement Status bar In this mode the plug in waits for any change in the parameter value movement of any control on GUI and for the movement of any MIDI CC control from the external MIDI controller which operates on an active MIDI input channel directed to Decimort The order of these actions is irrelevant During the above mentioned actions the status bar informs about the currently changing values of controls and provides their
4. mode After applying changes through the keyboard confirm the new name with the Enter button e Prev Next Buttons used to navigate through the preset bank Next button moves the browser to the next preset If the current preset is the last preset in a group pressing Next moves the browser to the first preset in the subsequent group Prev button moves the browser to the previous preset If the current preset is the first preset in a group pressing Prev moves the browser to the last preset in the preceding group 2 H e Prev CTRL Prev button pressed while holding CTRL copies the edited preset to the buffer use Apple i i e key instead Next CTRL Next button pressed while holding CTRL pastes the buffer to the current preset with postfix of CTRL key copy added to its name e Browse Opens a Preset Browser menu in the bottom part of the GUI Deano A O Preset Management e Browsing presets e Preset Browser A eececoecococococococococococcecececocococococococococococococcecececececocococococococococococcceocececececocococococococococococococcececocococococococococococococcccecececococecococococooo d16 group Changes in the preset bank are not permanent After removing and reloading the plug in the default preset bank will be loaded However saving the project within the host application will also save the state of the plug in including changes in the preset bank After reloading the project all changes in
