Pea Soup www smokemachines net Fog Cooler Introduction Thank you for choosing the Pea Soup Fog Cooler You now own a rugged and powerful state of the art machine Prior to use we suggest that you carefully read all of the instructions By following the suggestions found in this user manual you can look forward to the reliable and satisfactory performance of your Fog Cooler for years to come Please follow these operation safety and maintenance instructions to ensure a long and safe life for your fog cooler Pay attention to all warning labels and instructions printed on the exterior of your Fog Cooler gt deal operating temperature is 10 30 degrees Celsius gt After moving or transporting this unit wait 5 minutes before operating gt Input fog must be clean Contaminated fog may damage internal parts gt There must be a free air space of at least 15cm 6 inches between the fog machine output and the fog cooler intake gt After interrupting operation wait 3 minutes before starting again gt Keep this device dry gt For inside use only Not designed for outside use gt Keep fog cooler upright Do not tilt this device Angle of inclination may not exceed 10 degrees gt Turn off or unplug when not in use gt This machine is not water or splash proof If moisture water or fog liquid gets inside the housing immediately unplug the unit and contact a service technician or Pea Soup before using it again2. gt No user serviceable parts inside Refer to Pea Soup or other qualified service personnel gt For adult use only Fog cooler must be installed out of the reach of children Never leave the unit running unattended gt Locate the fog cooler in a well ventilated area Never cover the unit s vents The fog cooler is best installed 1 metre away from all objects gt f ducting the fog remember that heavy fog acts like water and will flow back to the lowest point in the ducting hose Make sure that the fog cooler s outlet is higher otherwise fog will flow back into the cooler and cause condensation gt If using an Antari fog machine with the cooler use only FLR Fog Liquid designed to disperse quickly before rising Contact Pea Soup for supplies gt If your Fog Cooler fails to work properly discontinue use immediately Contact Pea Soup for service Unpacking amp Inspection Open the shipping carton and verify that all equipment necessary to operate the system has arrived intact Refer to the Features section for information on what items are included with your model lf any equipment is missing contact Pea Soup immediately Before beginning initial setup of your Fog Cooler make sure that there is no evident damage caused by transportation In the event that the unit s housing or cable is damaged do not plug it in and do not attempt to use it until after contacting Pea Soup for assistance Setup gt Remove all packing
3. materials from shipping box Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed especially in the nozzle area gt Attach power cord to rear of fog cooler gt Place the fog cooler s intake around 6 inches 15 cm away from the fog machine s output gt Plug power cord into a grounded electrical outlet Turn power switch on rear of unit to the ON position gt Waiting time for cooling is approximately 2 minutes Operation gt The Fog Cooler s output volume is determined by the output volume of the fog machine to which it is attached gt Pea Soup has the hoses and adapters required for an optimal installation of the fog cooler See the two illustrations below FTA 10 FTA 11 Fog Hose Adaptor Fog Flow Pi Fog Hose Adapor FIA 1 2 3 FIA 12 Tube Adaptor aes Guide plate 4 ong E Fog Conducting Hose Fog Conducting Hose In the first example a fog conducting hose FT 10 is attached to a fog machine s output nozzle via an adapter FTA 1 or FTA 2 and then connected to an adapter FTA 10 attached to the fog cooler s intake In the second example substitute the guide plate FTA 12 with a fog conducting hose FT 10 that attaches to the front of the fog cooler via an adapter FTA 11 This configuration allows the fog cooler s output to be guided to a desired area without being affected by air currents generated by movement wind fans or air conditioners During operation if you experience mechanical noise
