17. rrow A great example are the guidelines for manatee photo trips at places like the Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River Cooler water temperature swings drive the manatees in record numbers to warm water springs meanwhile the popularity attracts greater numbers of tourist visitors to the same waters The situation leaves the Fish amp Wildlife Service with tough policy decisions to compensate for the influx of animal and hu man visitors In such a scenario we are observing rule changes unplanned Springs shut downs and greater variables to overcome in order to get a great day of shooting in Nonetheless think growth to the industry is a good thing lve met countless ex spearfishermen women general divers and other nature photogra phers turn their attention to the underwater lens SFUPS members that volunteered at the Blue Wild Ocean Adventure Expo noticed this transformation more than ever The interest in your images and the questions pertaining to camera systems have made our organization the cool new talk of the town Given the limelight of SFUPS we continue to be a venue for the most admired in our industry It is my con tinued effort to capture this momentum to bring forth terrific speakers for you to meet and learn from March is no exception am proud to say that the stars have aligned and we have a great opportunity to be a part of Cristian Dimitrius big Florida adventure on March 10 Cristian is our featured speaker and also our
