1. a channel selection tool and stereo like buttons Fae Menu Bar The menu bar consists of three choices Settings View and Help E OnviCord Monitor Settings View Help fn Current Channel Status Area This area allows a user to start stop remote live monitoring of the current user or channel shown in the long white box monitor a different user or channel attach a note designate a user defined color code and or flag a recording lw Mute Stereo like Buttons seek scan and previous next channel buttons allow you to select which users s and or channel s to monitor OnviCord Monitor Settings View Help lf Mute II ci Menu Bar From the Menu Bar select Settings View or Help 7 OnviCord Monitor Settings view Help fn Settings Use the Menu Bar to select Settings OnviCord Monitor Settings View Help n Settings launches a box for setting a user s scan hold time When set to scan channels for activity the scan hold time represents the number of seconds 5 60 that your system stays on a channel once it finds one with activity before advancing to the next active channel To modify the number of seconds enter your preferred scan hold time by typing a number in the box or using the up down buttons to increase decrease the number of seconds Click OK Scan Hold Time E 4 Seconds Show Your Chann
2. mute box to quit monitoring a recording The checkmark and the cross out bar over the speaker indicate you are no longer monitoring the live recording Uncheck the mute box to begin live monitoring again OnviCord Monitor Settings view Help M Mute Hess Rita 15 For systems with screen capture where a recording is being live monitored an additional icon a computer monitor appears to indicate that screen capture is also taking place on the call Click on the icon unless it is dimmed to launch the video monitor Onvilord Monitor Settings View Help Hess Rita You may briefly see a black screen that indicates video monitoring is about to begin followed by the launch of the video monitor window showing the entire screen of the user whose recording you are monitoring Seek scan and previous next channel arrows all work while the screen is up and the actual video monitor screen can be moved and re sized during video monitoring Check the mute box to quit live monitoring the screen capture or uncheck the mute box to begin live monitoring again 16 Attach a Note Notes provide a way for authorized users to attach text to a recording during or after the recording Click the Note button first icon in the current channel status area enter text in the box set the note as Public or Private and click OK The user adding the note and the current date time are stamped onto the new note and it becomes p

7. el User Always on Top rea Your OnviCord system administrator determines which channels you have permission to monitor To include your own channel in the list of available ones to monitor if this option is available place a checkmark next to Show Your Channel User Put a checkmark next to always on top if you want the OnviCord Monitor window to remain on top of other applications you are running When this option is selected you can close the OnviCord Monitor window at any time by clicking the X in the upper right corner View When OnviCord Monitor is launched from OnViews the application defaults to the same view sort order being used in OnViews For example if you are viewing users by Last Name First Name in OnViews when you launch OnviCord Monitor from within OnViews then OnviCord Monitor will default to the Last Name First Name view To choose between views select View from the Menu Bar Onvilord Monitor Settings View Help lw Mute n Now select users channels servers or a user defined custom view configured in OnViews YJE X yt se Channels Servers Custom Sort To change the sort order for a category users channels etc select the category Then select View and Sort Only applicable sort criteria is shown user sort options when viewing users channel sort options when viewing channels etc All views automatically default to the first item in that category use
8. k the Mute box to quit live monitoring Press the note icon if you want to attach a note press the color code icon to apply a color code and or press the flag icon to flag a recording in progress Once the scan Hold Time you selected in settings has elapsed OnviCord Monitor begins scanning for the next active channel Press the scan button again to stop start the scan action 24 Previous Next Channel Click the previous or next buttons on the far right to move incrementally to the previous user channel left arrow or next user channel right arrow you are authorized to monitor OnviCord Monitor When stopped on a channel with recording activity uncheck the Mute box to begin live monitoring or check the Mute box to quit live monitoring Press the note icon to attach a note press the color code icon to apply a color code and or press the flag icon to flag a recording in progress Press the previous or next button again to stop start the action HINT To seek or scan channels without live monitoring each active channel puta checkmark in the Mute box Seek or scan as described above With this method you will not begin hearing an active recording until you uncheck the Mute box 20 Channel Selection Tool You can seek or scan channels for activity or you can select one to monitor using the drop down box F Lp Whether you see users channels or a custom view when the drop down box opens will depend on your view
