Q My computer won t boot up while the Magma ExpressBox 2400 is connected what should I do A When the computer is having problem starting up while the Magma ExpressBox 2400 isattached itisan indication that you either have a faulty ExpressBox 2400 expansion unit or malfunctioning PCle cardsthat are installed in the expansion PCle slots Start removing allthe PCle cardsin the chassis Boot the computer up and see if it works e Ifthe computer showed no problems starting up with PCle cards removed this means that the PCle card s is are causing the problem and not the expansion unit e ifthe computer is still exhibiting the same issue without any PCle cards installed in the chassis this meansthat you have a faulty Magma device orhardware e Start swapping the cable first See if that fixesthe problem e The next would be to replace the Host Interface card e If you are still having the same problem after replacing the Magma cable and Host Interface card this means that you have a faulty expansion cha sss e Inside the expansion chassisthere are three major components and these are the Expansion Interface card Backplane and Power Supply unit Exp ressBox 2400 Chapter 4 Troubleshooting ES OO MEN Chapter 5 Other Technical Information Interface Card LEDs Onboard Visual Diagnostic Features Multiple LEDs and Dip switches make debugging and troubleshooting easy Visible LEDs show the PCle link width that each PCle Inte
