18. e Tablet PC The operating time of a fully charged battery pack depends on how you are using the Tablet PC When your applications often access peripherals you will experience a shorter operating time By Operating System You can check the approximate battery level using the battery meter function of the operating system To read the battery level in Windows tap the battery icon on the taskbar By Gas Gauge On the exterior side of the battery pack is a gas gauge for displaying the estimated battery charge When the battery pack is not installed in the Tablet PC and you want to know the battery charge you can press the switch with a pointed device to see the corresponding value of indicator segment that light green 28 Switch The value of the corresponding green segment indicates the relative percentage of the battery charge The battery pack is fully discharged when you see no segment glowing green Battery Low Signals and Actions The battery icon Wl changes appearance to display the current state of the battery Battery Icon Battery Level Description Discharging The icon shows the charge remaining in 10 percent increments until the charge reaches the low battery level The battery charge has reached the low battery level 10 by default Critically low The battery charge has reached the critical battery level 5 by default By default Windows will display a notification and put your
19. e sure that the AC adapter is properly connected e Make sure that the battery is not too hot or cold Allow time for the battery pack to return to room temperature e If the battery doesn t charge after it has been stored in very low temperatures try disconnecting and reconnecting the AC adapter to solve the problem e Make sure that the battery pack is installed correctly e Make sure that the battery terminals are clean The operating time of a fully charged battery becomes shorter e If you often partially recharge and discharge the battery might not be charged to its full potential Initialize the battery to solve the problem The battery operating time indicated by the battery meter does not match the actual operating time e The actual operating time can be different from the estimated time depending on how you are using the Tablet PC If the actual operating time is much less than the estimated time initialize the battery BT Wireless Transmission Problems cannot connect to another device with BT wireless technology e Make sure that both devices have activated BT feature e Make sure that the distance between the two devices is within the limit and that there are no walls or other obstructions between the devices e Make sure that the other device is not in Hidden mode 60 e Make sure that both devices are compatible Display Problems Nothing appears on the screen e During operation the screen
