Appendix E Choice Program User s Manual Ron s Photo Album Navigation F5 key starts the program The Program begins with a five second splash photo of Ron The time that this photo is displayed on the screen can be changed by changing the program s data file After the splash photo the program advances to the Choice Screen Ron is shown four categories of photo albums to select Ron chooses a category by moving the mouse cursor over the category and paus ing for a second or two A category can also be cho sen with the keyboard by using the F1 to F4 keys to select the category After choosing a category the program displays four Photo Albums Ron chooses a photo album to view by moving the mouse cursor over the album and pausing for a second or two After a short pause a slide show will play for a couple of minutes Slides are timed to display for about 15 seconds each Once the slide show ends the four photo albums will be re displayed Pressing the Enter key on the keyboard will manually advance to the next slide Pressing the Esc escape key will immediately end the slide show PowerPoint Slide Shows The slide shows were cre ated with PowerPoint a program sold by Microsoft While watching the slides the PowerPoint program is doing the work of displaying them on the screen and playing the sounds A glitch from time to time may occur with the Power Point software Microsoft has a his2. s to the software
