Caution Never insert the plug of the lead wire into an AC power supply or other equipment not specified as safe for the lead wires Turning On the TOP TENS unit Turn the TOP TENS ON by pressing the On button A Note Do not turn the TOP TENS ON until all electrodes and lead wires are properly attached Turning Off the TOP TENS unit The TOP TENS will turn off automatically if the timer is set count down minutes are shown on the display If set to continuous the TOP TENS has to be turned OFF manually 12 A Note To prevent unpleasant electric shocks never remove the electrodes while it is still turned on Selecting the Program By pressing the Mode button the default therapy mode will flash on the display Use On button to increase or the Off button to decrease if you would like to change the therapy mode A Note If you change programs during the therapy session the treatment time will not reset unless you manually reset it by performing the steps described below in Selecting the Treatment Time Selecting the Treatment Time By pressing the MODE button the default treatment time will flash on the display Use the program timer to increase the desired time to 5 60 minutes 5 minute increments or continuous To increase or decrease the timer press the button On to ascent or Off button to descent repeatedly until the desired duration appears on

You have recently undergone a surgical procedure You take insulin for diabetes You use the TOP TENS as part of a rehabilitation program If you have suspected or diagnosed heart problem If you have suspected or diagnosed epilepsy If you have a tendency to bleed internally following an injury If you recently had surgery or have ever had surgery on your back If areas of skin lack normal sensations such as skin that tingles or is numb During menstruation or during pregnancy e Some people may feel skin irritation or experience a very sensitive feeling in the skin due to electrical stimulation If this occurs stop using your TOP TENS and consult your Physician e f skin under one of more electrodes feels irritated after using the stimulator for a long period of time use the stimulator for a shorter period of time e Minor redness at stimulation placement is a normal skin reaction It is not considered as skin irritation and it will normally disappear within 30 minutes after the electrodes are removed If the redness does not disappear after 30 minutes from the removal of electrodes do not use the stimulator again until after the excessive redness has disappeared e Turn off the TOP TENS if the stimulation feels unpleasant or does not provide pain relief e Keep your TOP TENS out of the reach of children e Use your TOP TENS only with the electrodes lead wires snap cables and accessories recommended by the manuf
