2. urnoff the compressor and disconnectthe air sourcehose in preparation to load bits into the Air Hammer ASSEMBLY A WARNING Always disconnectfrom the air source before examining or changing bits 1 Select the appropriate Chisel Bit With your thumb put counterclockwise pressureon the springand insert the shankof the chiselbit into the Cylinder Release the spring Holding the Air Hammer firmly pull the chiselbit hard to make sure itlocked into place See Fig 2 Note Before connectingthe air supply make sure you are wearing safety goggles and a fullface mask ear protection and steeltoe shoes A WARNING Any spectatorsin the immediate area will needeye and ear protection Beware of flying chips of wood concrete metal orany other material being chiseled 1 Connect the air hose to the Air Inletand turn onthe compressor notincluded 2 Grip the Air Hammer with both hands firmly and put the chisel tip upagainst the workpiece you wishto chip 3 Gently squeeze thetrigger and move slowly along the workpiece Do notpush down on thetool let itdo the work If it doesnot do theintended job to satisfaction examine your bitto see ifit is worn or dull 4 When you arefinished turn offthe air supply hold the Air Hammer a safe distance away from yourselfand others and squeeze the triggerto bleed offthe remaining air Then disconnect theair hose 2of3 For technical questionsand replacement parts please call 1 800 222 5381 Than
