Step by Step Creating a Diagram in Picture View With Kidspiration With Kidspiration younger students can easily represent ideas information and concepts visually Kidspiration is similar to Inspiration but is tailored to students in kindergarten through third grade The program s Picture view allows students to create simple maps webs and other visual learning diagrams A library of over 12 000 symbols is included In Writing view students ideas are presented in text organized by topic level In this Step by Step Card you will learn how to create a new Kidspiration diagram in Picture view listen to the diagram s ideas and then view the diagram in Writing view Creating a new Kidspiration document Open Kidspiration In the Kidspiration Start window click the Picture button under New You can start in either Picture view or Writing view An untitled Picture view document appears with the text in the First Idea symbol selected The Picture toolbar is at the top of the window and the Symbol palette is at the left The Formatting toolbar is at the bottom of the window Creating a Diagram in Picture View With Kidspiration Step by Step Card 1 3 Type the main idea for the diagram What I do for fun After you type the topic click the diagram background to end the text entry 4 Choose Save from the File menu Name your diagram and click Save Each time you save you will be a
