8. 11 24AM 1KB Start New Click Search for Items and press Start New Select a job 1 Scan and collect 2 Search for Items 3 Detect security alarm 4 Enable security alarm Resume Start New View Collection Job Settings Retrieve item information LiBS Mobile V 1 8 RFID Shelf Management Dec 4 2012 User Manual Intelletto Technologies Inc Page 12 LiBS Mobile loads a list of files from Import folder This folder can be set through the Preference screen The screen looks as follows R ci Lookup File Select a lookup file List txt List1 txt Once the file is located tap on the file and LiBS Mobile will load the information in the file and start looking for the data that is in the file The file is a simple text file where each line contains an item barcode and a book title Each time an item is found the BR10 will display the title The user can then press any button on the BR10 to continue with the search Following screen shot shows the BR10 screen when the book Practical Antenna Handbook has been found Pressing any key on the BR10 keyboard will cause the search to continue Following screen shot shows the BR10 screen when all the books in the list have been found If all the items were not found you can view a list of the items and find out which ones have been found and which ones have not been found click on View Collection when Search for Item is selected on the main
9. 2012 User Manual Intelletto Technologies Inc Page 8 Main LiBS Mobile Screen Scan and Collect Scan and collect enables user to scan a collection of RFID data The limit of the data collected is the amount of the memory space available on the tablet device Pause at exceptions If this check box is checked AND if exceptions have been defined through Item status and exception screen the BR10 will warn the user through the BR10 screen that an exception has been encountered The user can override the exception and continue by pressing Button on the BR10 keypad Activate security If this check box is checked the security of each RFID tag scanned will be set to active position according to the security settings of the Preference screen Retrieve Information If this check box is checked the item status and description information is retrieved from ILS during the RFID scan cycle This feature is most useful where users are working in areas of the library where a wireless connection to the SIP server is not available or it is intermittent This way the user can continue with collecting the data and then attempt to retrieve information later when the collection is complete Please refer to the View Collection section below for explanation on how the retrieval after the collection can be performed Start New When pressing Start New for Scan and collect LiBS Mobile deletes the previous collection and starts a new collection of data
