Delta Q Charger Algorithm Update for Haze Batteries Last updated Oct 24 2008 Copyright 2008 This document may not be reprinted published emailed or posted on the Internet without the approval of ZAP Intended Readers The purpose of this manual is to provide a qualified electric car mechanic or technician with the information to correct the addressed service issues Check with ZAP if you are unsure who to have do the work ZAP is not responsible for damage to your vehicle or personal injury for work done by non qualified personnel Read through entire procedure prior to beginning any work The step by step instructions should be performed by a qualified electric car mechanic in the order stated This update procedure is to install and set Algorithm 134 ALG134 as the default for Haze batteries Tools and supplies needed Laptop or desktop computer with available USB port Delta q QuiQ USB Interface Module 900 0012 10 mm wrench or socket KILL A WATT Meter optional Step 1 Open QuiQ Programmer box and remove Programmer User Manual Follow instructions to Install Programmer software on laptop or desktop computer Step 2 Download ALG134 file from the ZAP website to your laptop or desktop computer http www zapworld com then click on support then manuals or go to http www zapworld com node 82 Step 3 Follow instructions in the QuiQ Programmer User Manual to add ALG134 to charger and set as default Step 4 Rec2. onnect charger to batteries as instructed in Programmer User Manual and charge until green full LED is on solid To verify charger operation press the AMP button on KILL A WATT meter if available Reading should be between 1 and 12AMPS depending on the charge state of the batteries Step 5 Return QuiQ Programmer to ZAP 2 West 3 Street Santa Rosa CA 95401 If you have any Questions Call ZAP Tech Support Dept 707 526 6444 bwallis zapworld com Failure to return programmer will result in a 500 charge
