18. e computer and with factory default settings An excessive use of the backlight and of the Bluetooth module may significantly reduce the battery life It 1s suggested to replace the battery when the tension displayed 1s 2 75V When the battery tension is insufficient the computer displays a visual alert Warning when diving in particularly cold water the battery tension may decrease of a value up to 0 3V especially if the battery has been used for half or more of its life time Therefore it is suggested to replace the battery before diving in extreme conditions Warning in case of low voltage the maximum screen backlight and contrast are limited lt 2 8V The OFF value of the backlight is set to 0 the ON value is limited to a max value of 5 the LCD contrast is limited to a max value of 5 lt 2 75V The OFF value of the backlight is set to 0 the ON value is limited to a max value of 3 the LCD contrast is limited to a max value of 5 lt 2 7V Backlight values are set to 0 These settings allow a proper functioning for the remaining dive time It is highly recommended to replace the battery at the end of the dive After the installation of a new battery it 1s important to check that all data in the computer have not been accidentally deleted Warning after installing a fresh battery all tissue data are reset So it is mandatory to no change the battery in between repetitive dives To reduce battery consumption the computer swit
