2. e turn off the water tap e unscrew the inlet hose e place a bowl with a small edge close to the pump to collect any spillage from the emergency emptying cap Place the end of the inlet hose ina bowl placed on the floor and let water drain out e screw the water inlet hose back on and reposition the emergency emptying cap on again into the filter cover e when you intend to start the machine up again make sure that the room temperature is above 0 C A Important Every time you drain the water through the emergency emptying hose you must pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer and then run the drain programme This will activate the ECO VALVE device avoiding that part of the detergent remains unused at next washing Emergency emptying out If the water is not discharged proceed as follows to empty out the machine e pull out the plug from the power socket e close the water tap e if necessary wait until the water has cooled down open the pump door using the suitable tool e place a bowl with a small edge close to the pump to collect any spillage Remove the emergency emptying cap from the filter cover The water should drain by gravity into the bowl When the bowl is full put the cap back on filter cover Empty the bowl Repeat the procedure until water stops flowing out e clean the pump if necessary as previously described e replace the filter into

11. drying The last 10 minutes of the drying cycle correspond to an anti crease phase During this time the door is locked and the display keeps showing three flashing zeros 2 00 Note i If you whish to open the door before or during the anti crease phase or to interrupt it press any button or turn the programme selector dial to any pro gramme position except O the door can be immediately opened 6 Turn the selector dial to the O position to switch the machine off Remove the laundry Automatic washing and drying NON STOP programme For NON STOP programmes it is also essential not to exceed the maximum load sizes of 3 kg for cotton and 2 kg for synthetics i Do not use a dosing device ball whe n carrying out a washing amp drying programme 1 Load the laundry 2 Add detergent and fabric softener 3 Switch the machine on by turning the selector dial to the selected washing programme fabric 4 Select the required options by pressing the relevant buttons Note If possible do not select a spin speed lower than that proposed by the appli ance to avoid a too long drying time so saving energy In any case the reduction of the spin speed is only possible after selecting drying The lowest values you can select are the following 900 r p m for cottons and syn thetics with electronic drying 900 r p m for cottons and 700 r p m for synthetics with timed drying 5 Sel
