4. he call Up and or Down button to tell the elevator which direction you want to travel The button stays lit until the elevator reaches your floor Keyed In Car Stop Switch This switch is located on the COP In the event of an emergency it stops the elevator from moving Emergency Alarm Button This button is located on the COP The button sounds an alarm when pushed Door Open Button This button when pushed and released opens the automatic car and hoistway doors while the car is at a landing Full Height Safety Light Screen This screen detects obstructions in the doorway and prevents the doors from closing Telephone Installing a telephone in the car is required by code for emergency purposes EVOIUTtION ua tow rise Elevator Helpful Hints If the elevator will not move il Check to see that all hoistway doors are closed Any door slightly open will prevent operation of the elevator Verify that car doors are completely closed If the elevator is equipped with a keyed switch make sure the key is turned to the on position in the control being used Hydraulic battery backuplf power failure occurs while elevator is in use 1 2 Elevator will stop Emergency car light automatically turns on The elevator will descend to the lowest landing The display will indicate battery lowering operation The car door will open once and close after a predetermined time with battery
