Quick Start Guide EDP 3 Basic Operation Charge the battery for 15 minutes before 1st use EDP3 supplied in Basic operation mode e PIPET and MULTI modes switched on e Advanced modes hidden refer to manual Pipet Mode Touch any key fo switch on ii l FIFET Press the MODE key until PIPET is displayed SHHT PICKUP indicates ready for operation Set volume with Up Down arrows Touch either trigger to aspirate Touch either trigger to dispense EDP3 dispenses sample through blowout Ready for next pickup Multidispense Mode Touch any key to switch on win f Press the MODE key until MULTI is displayed Ye 500m PICKUP indicates ready for operation Automatic control Set aliquot size e g 50 ul with Up Down arrows EDP3 displays number of aliquots e g 4x EDP3 will pick up maximum sample volume Manual control Set aliquot size with Up Down arrow keys Set number of aliquots by pressing RESET Display flashes Arrow key sets aliquot number Press RESET to save number of aliquots EDP3 picks up only volume necessary Touch either trigger to aspirate sample Touch either trigger to dispense one aliquot Aliquot number counts down When at zero RESET flashes Press RESET button or double click either trigger to dispense residual sample Note In Multi mode EDPS aspirates an additional residual amount to ensure accuracy of all aiquots Ready for next pickup BLT
