POWERMADD Throttle Extension Kit Installation Instructions for Throttle Extension Kit Part No 13592 TOOLS REQUIRED HARDWARE INCLUDED e Pliers Item Qty Description e No 1 Phillips Screw Driver 1 2 Junction Box Halves e 5 16 Wrench 2 1 Junction Slide e 7 16 Wrench 3 4 Self Threading Screws 4 3 Retaining Clips 1 Extra 5 1 Cable WARNING Read all instructions before installing Extension Kit Snowmobile should not be running while installing or making any adjustments to Extension Kit PowerMadd also recommends using a tether cord for the safest operation of your snowmobile If at anytime you suspect there is a problem with the throttle controls immediately shut off snowmobile and inspect If you are experiencing problems with our Extension Kit contact PowerMadd for customer service Be sure carburetors are correctly in sync and set up If snowmobile is not running properly before installing Extension Kit the snowmobile will not run correctly after installing Extension Kit Remove stock retaining clip from stock throttle cable where the cable is mounted to the throttle block Then remove stock cable from throttle lever and throttle block Remove handlebar pad and any zip ties that are holding the stock throttle cable to the handle bar assembly Install one our retaining clips on the stock cable and one on the ball end of our cable Refer to illustration Place the slide in one of the junction box halves along with the stock ca2. ble and the extension cable as shown in the illustration Line up the tongue of the upper box half with the grove of the lower box half close up the junction box and install the screws Measure the distance the stock T fitting protrudes from the end fitting of the stock cable Lengthen or shorten the cable adjuster to get the extension T fitting to be the same dimension as the stock one This will be your starting point for adjusting the cable slack Install the extension cable into the throttle block and lever Throttle lever should have a little slack to work properly with the stock safety switches Refer to service manual for correct adjustment of cable slack Once proper slack is achieved start up snowmobile while on a track stand to be sure throttle controls are working properly Then turn of snowmobile Tighten jam nut of the adjuster Re zip tie the cable to the handlebar assembly and reinstall the handle bar pad LIMITED WARRANTY Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Step 8 Step 9 POWERMADD warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under use for the purpose it was intended POWERMADD shall not be liable for damage or injury caused by defective materials or workmanship POWERMADD may elect to repair or replace this product but is the sole judge of any defects in their product This warranty does not cover any labor costs to remove or reinstall this p
