Service Manual section INT Interior for door panel installation 15 Reconnect the battery cables positive cable first 16 Reset the clock and the radio station presets 17 Perform power window initialization e Refer to section PWC in the Service Manual as needed e Make sure initialization is performed with the soft top in the up closed position 18 If equipped reset the customer settings for the ATC Automatic Temperature Control system refer to the ESM as needed 19 Turn the ignition from OFF to ON and confirm the Air Bag warning light goes OFF after about 7 seconds 5 5 NTB10 1462. Presets 1 2 3 4 CoA 2 If equipped write down record the following customer settings for the ATC Automatic Temperature Control system refer to the ESM as needed e Temperature Setting Trimmer e Foot Position Setting Trimmer e Inlet Port Memory Function 3 Turn the ignition switch OFF 4 Disconnect both battery cables negative cable first 5 Wait for at least 3 minutes 6 Remove the door panel finisher e Refer to the Service Manual section INT Interior for door panel removal 7 Reconnect the battery cables positive cable first 8 Operate the power window up or down as needed to access the bolts A amp B shown in Figure 3 9 Loosen the bolts A amp B shown in Figure 3 just enough to allow window movement adjustment NOTE The bolt holes are elongated This will allow enough movement adjustment to prevent l the window from contacting the soft top fabric Figure 3 4 5 NTB10 146 10 Adjust the window down and forward just enough to prevent the window from contacting the soft top 11 Tighten the bolts 12 After window adjustment make sure e lt does not rub contact the soft top fabric e There are no air leaks e There are no water leaks TP101 027 Figure 4 NOTE You may need to adjust and check two or three times 13 Disconnect both battery cables negative cable first and wait at least 3 minutes 14 Reinstall the door panel e Refer to the

4. e the applicable Fabric Top P N as the PFP 2 Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated FRT AND in combination if needed DESCRIPTION OP CODE FRT Adjust Window One Side WH16AA 3 3 Can be claimed twice once for each window 2 5 NTB10 146 SERVICE PROCEDURE 1 If the soft top fabric is damaged a Replace the soft top fabric cover e Refer to the service manual as needed for soft top cover replacement e Make sure to replace only the soft top cover and not the entire convertible top assembly b After the soft top cover replacement check door window to soft top clearance e Open and close both front doors a few times e Make sure the door window does not rub contact the soft top fabric e f needed adjust the window lf a door window rubs contacts the soft top fabric when opening and closing the door adjust the window down and forward just enough to prevent the window from contacting the fabric see Window Adjustment on the next page TP101 027 Figure 2 2 If the soft top fabric is not damaged adjust the window see Window Adjustment on the next page 3 Make sure there are no water or air leaks 3 5 NTB10 146 Window Adjustment IMPORTANT Follow all cautions warnings and notes in the Electronic Service Manual ESM when working on or near a Supplemental Restraint System SRS such as an air bag 1 Write down all radio station pre sets
