PT outlets OPERATION 1 With system in operation turn 84 351 Handle clockwise until desired back pressure or flow rate is obtained To reduce back pressure turn handle counter clockwise 2 Tighten 20 262 Nut to lock handle in desired back pressure position 3 Higher back pressure reduces flow rate Lower back pressure increases flow rate 4 If back pressure valve buzzes during or after initial start up it means air is in the system If buzzing continues reduce back pressure until buzzing ceases then readjust to desired back pressure 1 Back pressure valve can be serviced without removing valve from line 2 To replace diaphragms gaskets or seats turn LA 84 351 Handle counter clockwise until tension on 84 365 Spring is relieved Remove 20 537 Screws 4 To replace diaphragms or to replace 84 388 Gasket remove 84 363 Valve 5 To reassemble reverse procedure described above When reassembling note position sequence of diaphragms and gaskets The 84 388 Gasket fits between the 84 330 and 84 399 Diaphragms The diaphragms are located below the 84 463 Gasket See enlarged view PARTS LIST When ordering please specify Part No Ind Ind Part No Description Parts Part No Description Parts Req d Req d 20 262 HEX NUT 1 2 13 1 84 330t DIAPHRAGM Upper Nylon 2 20 537 HEX CAP SCREW 1 4 20 x 3 4 in long 6 84 348 C
