1. Checking Procedure After adjusting the reference position of 4 and 5 mirror check as follows D Set the test chart UKOG 0089CSZZ or a resolution test chart on the original table 2 Take a full size copy Check if the center and corners of the copy paper is in focus The resolution must be at least 5 0 lines mm in the center and 4 5 lines mm in the corners Otherwise repeat the steps to Y of 2 while changing the preset value by 1 at a time until this requirement is met Applied Material UKOG 0089CSZZ Test chart _ Check if the center and corners is in focus Copy paper A3 or 11 x 17 5 Adjusting the Lateral Magnification The lateral magnification should be adjusted in the following cases When the main PWB is replaced When the RAM in the main PWB is replaced When self diag U2 occurs When the mirror motor is replaced Change the mirror base scan speed to adjust the lateral magnifica tion ratio D Set a scale on the original table as shown in the figure and perform Simulation 48 02 The machine starts the warm up cycle and the ready lamp is lit At the same time a preset value ranging from 15 to 35 is indicated Now take a full size copy of the scale and determine the correc tion factor for lateral magnification according to the following expression Correction factor for lateral magnificat
