EET 950 15 Refer to H D service manual for appropriate year and model for the motorcycle you will be repairing Warning Disconnect the negative ground cable at the battery Check that all engine and transmission mounting hardware and components are in good serviceable working order Caution This Tool is precision gauge it will last a lifetime if it is handled in a professional manner If for any rea son you need assistance please call JIMS TECH department 1 Safely lift rear tire of motorcycle off the ground with motorcycle being level Support bike with tie downs so it cannot and will not fall over as you will be checking torque as high as 105 ft lb for some models 2 Check and torque all engine and transmission hardware per H D service manual 3 Check rear belt adjustment and axle torque for the year motorcycle you re servicing per that year service man ual 4 Check and repair as needed the following components that can and will affect alignment Neck bearings wheel bearings swing arm bearings and wheels for trueness Adjust or repair as necessary 5 Use JIMS tool No 928 alignment rod along with these No 950 Axle Plugs Also use JIMS No 923 Belt tension tool to check amp set correct belt tenison Refer to H D service manual for axle torque specifications Follow each tools instructions along with the H D Service Manual for rear wheel alignment specifications Feyfotmance Fads fot tlathey Vavidson Norotcycles 555
