Only use a good quality brand name grease e g Shell Retinaz A EP2 multipurpose grease Remove dirt from lubrication nipples prior to applying grease Wipe away any excess grease escaping from bearings All wheel bearings and wheel hubs should be greased and packed at least once a year eCheck wheel lug nuts daily avoid contamination of product all hydraulic fittings must be checked daily for leaks and replaced or tightened as necessary All bearings are of sealed type and are lubricated by manufacturer Bearings will only need be greased at start of season Over greasing sealed bearings will result in seal being broken and rapid failure of bearing If seal is broken bearing should be greased dagily until replaced One pump of grease at start of season is sufficient page 6 SPUDNIK Operators manual MODEL 80XX Planter Maintenance Hydraulic system Only carry out adjustments and maintenance work when the engine is switched off Remove ignition key Secure the machine against rolling away The hydraulic system is under high pressure Fluids escaping under high pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injuries If such injuries occur call a doctor immediately as otherwise there is a risk of serious infection Repair work to the hydraulic system may only be carried out by an authorized dealer Hydraulic oil and used oil filters are to be stored in suitable containers and disposed of in accordance

30. on roads Driving steering and braking ability Before leaving the tractor switch off the engine remove the ignition key and secure the machine against rolling away Use wheel chocks The design and function of intake and discharge mechanisms e g webs sifting units chutes means that they cannot be fully protected Therefore keep a safe distance from such moving parts when in operation This advice applies to all other similar auxiliary equipment Keep clear of the discharge area Never stand or work beneath suspended loads persons are only allowed to stand or work under suspended machines or machine parts e g car elevator discharge conveyor belt when safety supports are fitted e g trestle crane This particularly applies to maintenance and repair work Dangerous implements are located behind safety covers These do not necessarily come to a standstill as soon as the drive is switched off Therefore keep well clear until such parts have come to a standstill Never open safety devices such as covers flaps etc while the machine is in operation Never reach under safety devices Only carry out maintenance repair and cleaning work on the machine when the drive is switched off and the engine is stationary Remove the ignition key form the tractor Wear suitable protective clothing gloves footwear etc when handling sharp machines e g cutting knives Keep clear of opening hinged covers and guards Only start up the m
