Unlock the topper cartridge by turning lever counterclockwise and pulling the cartridge out of the module Remove the end tape from the supply spool and then unlock and remove the spool by pulling it out Unlock and remove the tape up spool by pulling it out Replace the topping ribbon by winding the new tape around the cartridge Insert the supply spool in the left core Thread the topper ribbon from the supply spool around the ribbon motion guide and insert the take up spool on the right core Wind the ribbon by turning the take up spool counterclockwise until it is tight Place the topper cartridge inside the topper module and press it firmly in place Lock lever by turning it clockwise Close the supplies cover 6 32 CPS120 Service Manual CTS electronics Take up spool Supply spool Left core Ta Guide rollers e Do not pull the ribbon from the supply spool when the spool is already inserted in the core Doing so might damage the holder spring If more tape G NOTE is needed press lever 3A and then pull ribbon as needed CPS120 Service Manual 6 33 CTS electronics EMBOSSER ASSEMBLY Remove and replace embosser module The Embosser Module is comprised of two rotating metal disks of punches and dies provides a means to make embossed characters on plastic card Use the following procedure to remove and replace the Embosser Module
